Was looking forward to this property. Was a little nervous with no reviews. We arrived and first noticed the grass needed to be cut. The clover was ankle high. This made it hard for our young kids to enjoy the swing set. The cushions on the outdoor furniture had several spots of bird poop. There were several dead bugs in the house. The porches were covered in pollen. I assume the house had not been used in a few weeks. The pillows in the down stairs bunk beds had several stains and some dried blood- when sent pictures the company they did send some new pillowcases although that was not the issue. The pool initially had a murky color with oil layer because the pump was not working. When contacted, we were told to check the breakers ourselves, which did correct the problem but the breakers kept blowing during our stay prompting us to need to continue to walk outside to flip the breakers. The shower heads in all the bathrooms were unable to stay up which meant by 6’4” husband had to duck for the water. He also had to fix two of the toilet handles while we were there. The rugs were also well worn and on the dirty side. The kids loved the pool while working and the slide in the bunk beds. The company was easy to talk with and did try to remedy the issues and did offer a refund for the pool issue.
