Putt Putt Castaway takes its name from the private mini golf course exclusive to its guests, and if you choose, become a castaway aboard the 26' long, 16' high Pirate Play Ship at this amazing amenity packed cabin. Explore your imagination, both young and old, aboard your very own private Pirate Play Ship complete with slide, crow's nest, lower deck, and rock climbing wall) .

After 23 years of military service we made East Tennessee our last stop and fulfilled our dream of owning cabins. Our primary goal is to make sure we do our part to ensure you leave the Smoky Mountains with a lifetime of memories with family and friends. If you have an issues you will be talking directly with us. We are local and can respond quickly to any issues, and love to give "local" tips, just ask.

Construction finished in October 2020. New everything! We have even added chain latches to all exterior doors for peace of mind (we use to have little ones too).

Pirate ship includes gangplank, slide, rock wall, and crow's nest. Two large community owned spring fed catch and release ponds are just a 5 minute drive away (no license needed) See pics.
*Privacy fence has been replaced with a 4' picket fence to meet HOA guidelines.

10 Putters and golf balls are provided for your use during your stay.

There are NO pullout sleepers or futons.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

PARKING: Roundabout Driveway for easy in/out. Room for 3-4 vehicles. If you have more or 4 large vehicles ask about overflow parking across the street.

ACCESS: The front door has an electronic lock. You will be provided the door code at least two days before arrival

GETTING THERE: The road is paved all the way to the cabin. Although snow here is rare, in the winter 4wd or AWD may be necessary.

OUTDOOR GRILLE: A large covered park style grille is provided for your use. Bring your own charcoal. Please make sure to put ash inside the provided ash can.

TRASH: If you need to remove trash from the cabin make sure to put it inside the cans in the bear-proof container and secure the container. If you fill the outdoor containers please contact us to empty them.

CRITTERS: There are critters AND bears in the area. If you encounter a bear do not feed or try to approach them.

CHECK IN/OUT: We do not typically offer late check out or early check in. If by chance we can accommodate, we will. However, late check outs without permission accrue a minimum charge of $50. Our cleaners are contracted to have the cabin from 10a-3p to properly prepare it for the next guest.

Soaps, shampoos, toiletries, condiments, zip locks, charcoal and coffee are NOT provided. We provide a starter pack consisting of 4 dishwasher tablets, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of TP per bathroom, small container of laundry soap and dryer sheets, and a sponge and small bottle of dish soap. You may want to bring extra towels for the hot tub.

The fireplace is shut down April 1 to October 1.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

This is a NON SMOKING cabin. If you smoke inside the cabin you will be charged $250, plus the increase in cleaning fee, plus any damages.

The hot tub is for guests 18 and over only. No children under the age of 18 permitted at anytime without adult supervision. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Pets are NOT allowed. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $250 and you will be asked to leave.

Maximum Permitted Occupancy is 8. Exceeding the maximum permitted occupancy will result in a fine by both local authorities and a $250 fine by the host. You will also be asked to leave.

Absolutely NO fires! The HOA does not authorize outdoor fires except for the provided Charcoal BBQ Grille. Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $150, plus damages.

No sidewalk chalk allowed. The use of sidewalk chalk on the driveway or anywhere else on the property will result in a $150 excess cleaning fee plus the cost of any repairs.

We do NOT offer refunds for weather or natural disasters.

Do NOT lean or hang on the railings.

Owner/Host is NOT responsible for accidents or injuries. Use of outdoor play equipment is at your own risk.
