The cabin was beautiful and in a great location! We enjoyed our stay until checkout. Cody had been great to work and communicate with throughout the booking process. I was a bit concerned when we got the check in instructions and wasn’t a fan of not being able to control the thermostat without contacting him. During our stay he messaged that a breaker may be tripped in a bedroom because a camera that he must have been watching was out. There is a RING camera at the door, but felt it unnerving that he was watching things that closely to be worried about a camera being out. His listing didnt list there were cameras. On our way home, he messages that we will be charged a pool cleaning/draining fee because it was cloudy and there were diapers remnants. He said the pool smelled like urine. A diaper wasn’t in the pool, a foam pool toy did bust and we cleaned up what we could but the skimmer wasn’t accessible. The day we arrived he told us the pool had been cloudy, it was clear when we arrived but quickly clouded back up. We should not be responsible for an ongoing issue he is having with pool chemistry. A couple of hours of kids in a pool wouldn’t cause that and make it necessary to drain a pool. We tried discussing this on the phone he accused us of verbal abuse. So with this experience I would not recommend this owner. He then sends pictures of trash left on a grill that we didnt use. Beware, he will see you have a child and use you as a scapegoat for his pool issues
