Overall everything was great. Great property, good value, good location. Finding the actual driveway was a bit hinkey, but we figured it out. Ummm, we did NOT see bears, good or bad I'm not sure. I'm a builder and I want to say first, good job on the deck for the hot tub. But there are definitely things in the cabin that I would have loved to have gotten my tools into. Some things to note for visitors: make sure you bring breakfast, it's definitely worth the stop to get it, even with check in being at 4pm.You do not have to, but I suggest, bringing your own paper towels and toilet paper. We had one very cheap roll of paper towels and we ran out on the second day. Toilet paper is super thin as well. If you enjoy playing pool and have the ability to bring your own cue stick, i would suggest it. There are house sticks, but they seem a bit warped. The tap water tastes funny. If you're a bit older, the seating for the dining room is a bit rough without cushions. If you're a family group and might be concerned about having something to occupy your time while indoors, do not worry because there are plenty of boats game options, cards, etc. as well as the pool table and arcade game. There are plenty of cooking utensils and cookware available, no crockpot if that's a preference. I definitely would come back again; we all had a great time. Thanks guys!

The property was exactly as advertised! We all really enjoyed the stay. Hot tub was great, the game room in the basement was a huge hit, and the beds were more comfortable than most other rentals we've been to. Everything was clean and did not experience any issues.... great hosts!

It was nice and quiet. We had things to do when we stayed at the cabin. The only thing was the main shower/bathtub leaked thru the floor to the basement the first day. . We told them right away. I'm assuming they had it fixed after we left.

My husband and I took our granddaughters to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for spring break and stayed at this cabin. The cabin was spacious, providing plenty of room for each person to have their own space while also being perfect for family gatherings. The location was close to various attractions, yet still felt secluded.

The cabin is exactly as listed! Beautiful cabin with great amenities at a central location. Perfect for people that have issues with stairs as you have vehicle access to both floors with a convenient driveway that wraps around the house. Hugging Cubs Hideaway Cabin is also the most pet friendly listing I was able to find!! Bonus Note-- An envelope of cash/check was left behind and the cleaning crew contacted us with the info from the check and is mailing it to us!! Phenomenal all around!

We had a very nice stay at Hugging Cubs Hideaway. Location/View 9/10Bedding 10/10Seclusion 10/10(very private)Access 7/10(we had difficulty operating the keypad in the dark, the owner responded immediately with help but should replace with a newer keypad that is illuminated for night access)Hot Tub 7/10(had a leak that we had to fill almost daily to prevent it from running with no water in it)Parking 10/10Cleaning Supplies 4/10 (left us with just one roll of paper towels and NO counter top cleaner. It was frustrating that we couldn’t keep the place tidy during our stay due to the lack of cleaning products provided)Amenities 6/10(pool table was missing a ball, Sauna had a broken handle which made opening it quite difficult)Towels for Hot Tub 3/10(the rental can sleep up to 10 people per VRBO listing but only 5 towels were provided for our stay. They should have at least enough towels provided for our guests which numbered 8 people. Dog Friendly Access 10/10

The photos were accurate. The place was very clean, with good location to all main attractions and there was great communication with the hosts. We found an easy path behind the cabin to walk the dogs and to get to a more remote location.

We had a wonderful time celebrating a 50th birthday and Thanksgiving at Hugging Cubs Hideway. The house was homey and comfortable for 8 adults and our 3 dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Easy access to terrific restaurants and Smoky Mountain National Park. The owners are very helpful and responsive. We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Hugging Cubs Hideaway. We enjoyed the mountain views in the distance while surrounded in the lush wooded surroundings. The cabin was tidy and fully prepared for guests. Located just 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge, it offered unbeatable convenience. My mother-in-law has mobility challenges, and the covered carport plus a single step into the cabin made it exceptionally accessible for her. We also loved the game room in the basement. Would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed with our family of 5. It was perfect with room to spare! The location was close to town but you still felt like you were nestled in on a quiet cabin with peaceful mountain views. We loved the hot tub and game room downstairs. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was spotless and hot tub great in the cool evenings. Kitchen well stocked and the king beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table and the video game machine in the red room downstairs. It was far enough from the crowds but yet in easy driving distance to anything.

Friends Trip

We had a friends trip which included 9 of us all together. We all loved the house and everything they had inside for entertainment. The house is far enough off the strip to be nice and quiet but close enough for a short car ride to go do the attractions. Overall a great experience.

Awesome getaway

We stayed here with our kids. The cabin was very nice and clean. There was plenty to do at the cabin with various games. The host was very quick to respond to any needs. Check in and checkout was very easy.

Amazing

Our favorite time was the time spent at the cabin. The host has everything labeled so it is extremely easy to find whatever it is you're looking for. As well as complimentary snacks that our kids enjoyed, playing cards etc. The check out process was so simple & a breeze compared to other stays; there is always an extreme list that makes it hard to enjoy your last morning. Highly recommend!
