*** Location, Location Location *** Lake Front Questa cabina 3 camere da letto 2 bagni sul lago ha oltre 2400 piedi quadrati. Questa cabina può offrire a chiunque il proprio posto per godersi la solitudine, pur essendo accogliente e invitante. Il piano superiore ha una grande suite padronale con un proprio camino con una scala a chiocciola che conduce ad esso, dove si dispone di un bagno privato con vasca idromassaggio e cabina doccia. Hai un balcone privato con vista sul lago che ti porta anche ai ponti di livello principale. Al livello principale della cabina, c'è una seconda camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale, un bagno completo e una grande cucina / sala da pranzo / den. La zona giorno ha un divano e un divano, anch'esso reclinabile. Camino a legna e TV a schermo piatto da 54 pollici, con lettori dvd in tutte le camere da letto Il tavolo da biliardo è presente. La cucina ha tutti gli elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e molto ben forniti. Questa zona della cabina è semplicemente fantastica, con le finestre che danno sulla magnifica vista sul lago e sulle montagne. Anche qui accederai al ponte principale, dove troverai una griglia a gas, molti bei mobili da portico e zone pranzo. Questa cabina è perfetta per intrattenere. Il livello inferiore della cabina contiene la 3a camera da letto con 1 letto matrimoniale e 1 set di due letti singoli. Con un lettore Wii e X box Questa area ha anche un proprio mazzo privato, nonché un arredamento portico molto invitante. E Corn Hole gioco sul ponte e appena fuori dal ponte troverai una buca per il fuoco all'aperto con posti a sedere e deposito di legna da ardere Sul lago hai quasi 200 piedi di facciata privata e un molo privato e un molo di pesca sono grandi e spaziosi con un tavolo e sedie, anche lì per rilassarsi proprio sull'acqua. Porta la tua moto d'acqua o noleggia da Mountain Cove Marina che dista meno di 5 miglia dalla cabina. La cabina è a meno di 15 minuti dall'autostrada e dal Bass Pro Shop. minuti al maneggio del lago Douglas, al Sevierville Golf Club, al nuovo Sevierville Convention Center, al Tanger Outlet Mall, a circa 20 minuti da Pigeon Forge e Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Ripleys Aquarium e Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort. circa 25 minuti dal Parco Nazionale delle Grandi Montagne Fumose per escursioni, sentieri naturali e rafting. La cabina è a circa 1 ora da Bristol Motor Speedway

The best part of this cabin is the lakefront access to Douglass lake and the amazing view from the porch. The host also communicated quickly to answer our questions and we had no issues with check in. However, the cabin does fall short on other aspects that other reviewers have also stated in their review. The biggest issue we had was with the cleanliness of the air conditioning and vent system. We found black mold and dirt on the upstairs AC window unit and downstairs intake vents. There was a musty smell in the downstairs bedroom. The other issues was the spiral staircase on the main floor that that was loud and creaking to the point you can hear it outside on the porch. We tried to avoid using it in fears the noise was going to wake up other people. The porch had really nice new trek decking, but the railing on part of the deck was falling apart and unsafe to lean on from that height. The cabin also had really nice big windows for great views, but all the windows were dirty and stained. This would be an amazing experience if some of these issues were addressed.

Amazing place to stay! Right on Douglas Lake, private dock, with multiple kayaks, and life jackets to use. Pretty steep incline to get down to the water, but there are steps. privacy with bedrooms on each floor. open space kitchen and living room. Kitchen has everything you need! Only thing we were disappointed about was the space around the pool table, cues will hit the walls, making it impossible to play. We only stayed one night but would love to come back when we can stay longer and rent a boat!

Lakefront home...

We had a group of 7, and there was plenty of space, and clean. The kids enjoyed the pool table. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there are things that could have made this place amazing. As stated in other reviews, there are broken chairs at the inside tables. We found enough to sit on, but some weren't very comfortable for sitting and playing games or eating a meal. The small, hightop table wasn't great for our group due to its size. The kitchen had several issues. The biggest was a broken light switch that the master electricians in our group volunteered to fix, but the parts were never provided. There was not enough silverware to service our group, so we used plasticware. The pans were mostly nonstick and in very rough shape. We used 1 skillet and 1 pan the while time (both stainless) because we don't use nonstick. Not a deal breaker, but I would bring my own if we came back. The spiral staircase is creaky and feels less than stable which could affecr someone with mobility issues. The upstairs has a window unit which wasn't ideal.Finally, the banisters on the deck and on the steps to the lake are in various stages of reliability. We just didnt push on them! Still, the dock was nice and the guys caught quite a few fish from right there! The boat launch at the end of the road is rough, but there is one at the dam that we uaed. Overall, we would return, but a few adjustments could make the stay a whole lot nicer. The owner was nice, but stopped responding at the end.

All was pretty good but there is several things that needed fix. Dishwasher didn’t work, Extra ice maker also don’t work I let owner know this.the grill needs some work on it and clean up and big spatula was broke. No gas for grill we had it filled. Also there’s a dinning table broke. One refrigerator shelf is broke. The wash machine glass is starting to crack. There mattress needs to be up dated. Not the most comfortable. Light switch in kitchen has a short, and above pool table it flickers. Pool table is not level at all. Pool Stick Is crooked. That some of the things that needed fix. By the picture we could not tell the hill was so steep. After all that we did have nice time.

Great Lake house

Great older cabin on beautiful Douglas Lake. Disappointed the propane tank was empty because we had marinated steaks we were looking forward to. Seats and paddles of kayaks were all broken. Floats had punctures. Stairs down to the lake were old and could be dangerous. View was great just needs some TLC

Serenity View weekend

Cabin was great and perfect for our weekend stay. Lake view was beautiful and we enjoyed the 3 kayaks provided on the property. We liked that it was close enough to Sevierville (15 min) so that we could get groceries.

Perfect for the most part

Beautiful cabin with beautiful views of the lake and mountain's. Perfect for my family of 5 plus room to spare. Well stocked with all the essentials which is a huge plus. My only complaints are.. the water heater- a big beautiful jacuzzi which we could only fill a quarter (maybe) because the water runs cold so fast. We had to boil water and carry it upstairs several times just to get it filled to use it. And the second complaint is the handrails leading down to the lake: my son was coming back up from the lake and the handrail collapsed. We noticed they were very loose the first couple times, then it collapsed on him. A minor repair that was just overlooked.. overall this is a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay and this will be the place we will come back to in the future.

We had 2 families of 4 stay here. The kids were 4-8. Plenty of room for everyone and lots is sleeping space, and well. Excellent property!

You’ll pay for the view but not much else. Upstairs AC unit has mold and debris in vents. Main level AC filter was dirty in dire need of replacing. Cups in cupboards had cobwebs. Various light switches were faulty. And to top it all off there were brown stink bugs on the main and upper levels. The view was serene though..

Wonderful Vacation

We celebrated Thanksgiving with 4 generations coming together for the week. This beautiful cabin was perfect. Plenty of room to be together but also enough space to “take a break” from each other when needed. We stayed in several days and had everything we needed to cook our meals and enjoy our time together. The drive to the cabin was nice & paved and although we only had one vehicle, there was plenty of room for several more. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Great Lake view

We had a great week in Tennessee in this cabin. Perfect lake view. Cabin was clean and nice. My family loved the lake and swimming. Our only complaint was the stairs going down the bank to the lake need work. There is broken stairs and railings. Other than that it was a great experience.

Great location!

Loved this area of the lake. Very nice dock & the use of kayaks was a plus. Spent most of our time on the lake or on the spacious deck. The walk to the dock was a little treacherous but other than that, an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful home in a great location!

The house is in the perfect location to enjoy the lake, boat rentals, restaurants, the Smokey Mountains and Dollywood! Check in was easy. The house was beautiful and clean. Beds were comfortable. Sitting on the top deck is so relaxing. The way down to the lake is not ideal for older adults or little children. The railings and steps are close to falling apart. Once down to the dock, it's great and you can spend hours swimming, kayaking and catching small fish. I would recommend this home for families that want to visit all the sights in east Tennessee but don't want to be in the congestion of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We will definitely visit again once the steps down to the dock are fixed.

Host cancelled on Day 3 with no warning, sheriff in tow

Property description states "This cabin is perfect for entertaining." Seating for meals inside and out exceeds 30. Host cancelled on Day 3 at 5:05 pm with no communication of concerns prior despite stating she had concerns on Day 1. (I was using property for family dinners and boat launch.) I apologized (“Hey, I just saw this. I am so sorry. We are just finishing family dinner, so everyone will be leaving.”) All family except those staying at the property (less than 8) vacated the property. At 5:44 pm, the host messaged "I need you to vacate the cabin." I began packing up and requested my brother take his boat out of the water when he returned from boating. The host later arrived on premises with two other people and a local sheriff. The presence of law enforcement needlessly traumatized my 15 YO niece (my niece thought we were going to be arrested) and my 7 YO niece. I did not argue with the vacate request, kept all conversation civil, but did request to stay until check-out the next morning. (It was dark.) The host insisted I vacate that night and the sheriff confirmed that I needed to comply with the request. I messaged the host about 10:30 pm that the property was vacated. No partial refund was offered. Safety issues: The dishwasher is not secured to the counter. The path to the water is very steep with wood railing/rope. The wood has fully exposed rusty nails/screws, is deteriorating, and comes apart when grabbed. Smooth stones under the rope are very slippery when wet.

Fun Family Trip - Great cabin!

We enjoyed this very nice cabin on Douglas Lake! Clean, awesome porch and view of lake! Enjoyed the private dock. Fished off the dock. Kids swam in the lake. They had kayaks (we did not get around to using them but a great bonus)! Comfortable for a family trip. We had our parents (in their 70’s, us in our 50’s and our kids 21, 20 & 16) - it was roomy enough. Had very well appointed kitchen with all the utensils and dishes needed for the week. Love the quiet, secluded and slower pace on the lake but only 15-20 minutes back to Sevierville. Steps to the lake are steep but if you take your time, wasn’t a problem navigating. It was one of our favorite family trips to that area!

Very nice place. Some suggestions: main floor shower head doesn’t work very well and the sink doesn’t drain well. Also stair railing down to lake needs work. That’s a safety hazard you should take care of. We had a great time.
