AWD or 4x4 vehicles are advised during the winter season, as the roads leading up to the cabin could be considered steep to novice mountain drivers. It is not 100% necessary, but highly encouraged. We do not refund based on weather or snowfall.

The Starr Crest resort offers a children’s playground, a picnic pavilion with charcoal grills, and a community swimming pool to all guests, generally open seasonally starting in the summertime.

Don’t forget to bring your golf clubs! At the bottom of the resort you’ll find the gorgeous 18 hole Gatlinburg golf course.

You will have to log into your own streaming accounts on the Smart TVs. We do not provide any streaming accounts.

Please keep in mind that we run on septic, so please do not flush anything that is not toilet paper.

Occasionally you may see a Mama Bear and her cubs. While they are adorable, please do not go near them or touch them. Do not feed them or leave any food or trash in your car. Please be sure to keep your car doors locked and again, DO NOT LEAVE FOOD IN YOUR CAR OR THEY COULD BREAK IN.
