Big Bear Lodge ha tutto. Questa cabina è perfetta per riunioni di famiglia, gruppi di chiese o famiglie numerose. Ogni camera ha un bagno privato e TV. Il biliardo e il biliardino faranno felici i bambini. La vasca idromassaggio all'aperto è un ottimo modo per rilassarsi e godersi le splendide viste sulle montagne. La cucina è completamente attrezzata e ha un grande tavolo da pranzo. Un bagno dispone di una vasca idromassaggio. E, c'è un angolo cottura nella sala giochi. Quindi porta tutta la famiglia perché c'è molto spazio e molto divertimento in questa cabina negli Smokies.

4.5 star review for Family Christmas

The cabin had plenty of bedrooms and beds. This was the first biggest challenge when finding a place. And, pet friendly, second challenge. Cabin was easy to enter upon arrival. Decorated nicely for Christmas. Plenty of pillows in each bedroom area. Three sitting areas allowed for separate activities or a bit of quiet time. The fireplace did not work properly which was sad for some in the group. The maintenance staff was made aware and was looking into the possible reason. The cabin cleaner left two washcloths, in the cabin bathrooms (there are 5), we had eight people in our party. We did ask for more washcloths and hand towels and those were brought to us. When we arrived there were no kitchen towels but these were also delivered when the maintenance staff came to check on the dishwasher. The kitchen is decently supplied with pots, pans, dishes. Plenty of utensils. Each bedroom has a television. And there are games upstairs that offer family fun. We did not plan to be traveling into Sevierville or Pigeon Forge so the location for this short trip was fine. If we were staying for a longer stay the distance to the tourist attractions may not be great, depending upon season and traffic. Four and half stars because of the non-working fireplace. The property management company was excellent. I would consider other properties from Acorn Ridge because of this property management experience.

Christmas Wonderland!

We loved the house! Perfect for all 11 of us! The only negatives were that it was advertised with a theater room (which my family was really looking forward to). There was no theater room. Even the emails I received up until the time we checked in still advertised it with a theater room. Also, there was trash down the hill near the front yard, the fireplace wasn’t working due to no LP available until after we checked out and the floors were dirty. Our slippers and socks were very dirty after a bit. But other than that, we had a great time!

Great house

Easy to find, great location, and large enough to allow everyone enough space. We had a small problem that was addressed immediately! Thanks for that. The only “eh” I had was the house slept so many yet the dining table didn’t accommodate for the same. Any time it wouldn’t have been a concern but we were having thanksgiving dinner and would have liked more seating.

This was a great location for a family weekend with adult children. There was plenty of room for everyone and quiet spaces for the baby. Management was responsive with questions.

Great birthday/anniversary getaway!!!

My husband n I were celebrating our anniversary plus one of our cousins celebrated her bday as well. The house was everything that the actual pics showed on the listing, and we were close to everything. We had 4 adult couples n we all needed king beds, so Big Bear was the perfect fit. I (we) would def recommend this house for anybody especially large groups of 10-12ppl. Thanks Acorn Ridge Cabin Rentals for helping us book with ease n allowing us to add an xtra day to our trip.

Nice property, but....

The property and location is very good, but the property management leaves a lot to be desired. Was not able to check in at 4 as advertised. 6:30 before we got in. Property was not well cleaned and there was no bedding for the sleeper sofas at all and only sheets and comforter for beds. Finally at 10:30 at night, after numerous calls did we receive extra bedding and blankets. I will say though, we did receive some compensation for the rough start. Overall, it is a nice property. Beautiful views.

Very satisfied

Loved that you had the basics there. Trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, etc. Quick response to email. Will stay again for sure!! Thank you. PS some small maintenance (broken tiles, jacuzzi bathtub jets were very dirty) needs done to cabin but with the stay. Overall very satisfied though

Very large cabin

Great space to accommodate a large group, and great to be able to bring pets. Cabin could use some updates. Some of the tv’s are very old. We saw several mice on the main level and also on the bottom level.

Perfect Birthday Trip

We had a total of 12 people with us in this cabin. We were able to check in early, which made it super nice because part of us arrived in town 2 hours early. The cabin was super clean including the hot tub. We were in town from Parkersburg, WV and Detroit, MI. The only complaints we have are the TVs in the bedrooms need to be updated, there needs to be more light in the parking area. Also dvd players would be a nice touch to the bedroom, the quality of what you could watch on TV was terrible and our younger children ( 4 under 5 years) didn't have any cartoons to watch. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and would book with them again.

Family vacation

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. They rooms were spacious and the layout of the house was great. We had a family of 11 staying and everyone was able to have their own space and be comfortable. The property manager was quick to respond and the check in process was super easy.

Nice Space

Plenty of space for 12 people to be comfortable. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Could have used some more kitchen supplies. Only one large bowl and a few small pots and pans. Had to purchase throw away 9x13 pans. Was out of propane but property manager quickly got it switched out for us. Some of the furniture was in rough shape. We had a great time and it was a good location for our daily adventures. Hot tub and pool table was a nice bonus.

Larger than pictures

This property needs a VERY deep clean. We brought our own cleaning supplies (thankfully) and were cleaning extensively to improve our comfort level. The jet tub had black mold around the rings (I thoroughly cleaned this for the next guest), the hand rails had build up of dirt, every fan, lamp, blind had a large dust layer. The washer and dryer have lint, dirt, and dog hair left. The downstairs bedrooms stayed hot even though the AC was set on the limit of 69 the whole time. The water pressure is non-existent if multiple people are showering. The hot tub is unusable due to the fact that multiple raccoons show up to rummage through the trash bins right next to it. We cleaned up LOCKED trash EVERY single night. So don’t count on use of the hot tub. The pool table didn’t have any chalk. We provided this. The football table is broken and can’t keep score. The dishwasher only has one setting. The ice maker takes forever to make any ice. There was a huge carpet stain right in front of the front door. The vacuum that is available for use looked like it had not been emptied in months! It was filthy. We personally delivered our trash to the trash dumpster about 10 minutes away daily (after picking it back up from the raccoons). There were someone else’s clothes in a drawer. A VERY deep clean is needed for the next person. We left coffee filters for the next person to be able to start their first morning the right way since these aren’t provided with the two coffee pots.

Overall good property.

Property has five large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Third floor has a large open area as does the basement. Relatively clean and free of any pests. Games (pool table and foosball table are of ridiculously poor quality). Hot tub was warm and clean. Carpets are well worn and stained. Overall decent quality in a fantastic location. Close enough to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Lovely cabin stay!

Loved the location, amenities, and quietness in the neighborhood. Checking in was a breeze, and it located near many stores in case you need anything but it’s still secluded and peaceful. The only negative things are that the cleaning could be taken up to another level with dusting the curtains, there were Cobb Webb’s in the corner of the shower above my head, if you opened the window there were dead bugs all in the window seals, the tv’s are ancient and the quality is terrible. The cable channels don’t work and there are only a few that did. The green carpet is super outdated and some of the sofas really need to be replaced. You can tell they have been around longer than they should. Overall we enjoyed the stay, and none of the negatives prevented us from having some much needed family time. Thank you’

I do think the pictures should be updated. The cabin looks way better in person. The fireplace was perfect the sizes of the rooms were awesome. Only other con would be that the water loses pressure sometimes but nothing I short wait couldn’t fix.

Great property for value minded vacationers

Let me start by saying Acorn was fabulous to work with and this cabin was very spacious. We loved having 5 bedrooms with their own bathrooms attached. The location was great as well--it wasn't in the high traffic areas but was close enough to whatever you wanted to do. Now, the negatives--the hunter green carpet looks very dated. The tv's were outdated (none were HD), but that may not matter to some travelers. We happened to go on a Titan's playoff weekend so it was a bigger deal. Also, the pool table and foosball tables need work. So, if those things don't bother you, you will not find a better cabin for the price.
