Scenery is beautiful!
The cabin was well equiped with more than I expected, like laundry detergent, softner, shampoo, conditioner and soap. The view was spectacular! We saw a moose and her calf a couple of times on one of the roads heading down from the cabin. Just a few minutes from Seward and many hiking options available! We would stay again!

Special Little Hideaway
Was a nice and cozy cabin with a beautiful view on a nice property. Kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessities needed for our stay. Beds were comfortable. The drive to the cabin wasn't bad but our Maps app had us go on another road that had many holes and dips. We later found another route that was an easier drive with the roads being in a better condition. We would definitely return for a future stay.

Majestic view of Mountain. Rustic, week-equipped cabin.
We loved staying at your cabin. The view from the deck was amazing. Loved playing cards outside on your beautiful picnic table. Enjoyed the sauna every day. Cooked some great meals at your place. Thank you for having a well equipped kitchen.

Rustic coziness with modern amenities
Cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing few nights. We all enjoyed the sauna after our long hikes/kayaking out of Seward. Location was very convenient to Seward and local parks.

Great location
Cabin was great for our three day stay in Seward area. Beds were very comfortable, cabin was warm, clean and quiet. Only downside was it was foggy all three days and we didn’t see the awesome view. We did enjoy watching the eagles for hours.

The cabin had great mountain views and was mostly private. It was very peaceful there. We enjoyed the firepit and our son enjoyed the sauna. We would definitely stay there again.

Honeymoon in the Mountains
Cabin was super cozy perched at the top of the mountain drive. My wife and I had a great honeymoon and our few days in Seward didn't disappoint. Thank you for providing us with a true getaway experience and a mountain top view that we won't forget.

Delightful! Enjoyed watching the eagles, & looking out the window seeing the glaciers & mountains. Cabin was well stocked. Quiet & easy access to town. Enjoyed a hike to see exit glacier, sealife exhibit, a 6 hour boat tour, & lots of choices to eat out.

Wonderful property to stay at during your time in Seward! Don’t let the drive up through the neighborhood scare you…the cabin feels secluded, safe, and very cozy! The beds were comfortable, the cabin was very clean, and we loved the sauna!

Wonderful Week Stay!
We loved this property! It was perfect for a couple (or a couple with children). Very quiet and comfortable. Super clean and nicely equipped. We didn't use the sauna but I peeked in and it was pristine. It is in a great location if you want to be close (10min) to town but out in nature. I would absolutely recommend this place and would gladly stay here again!

Came up here from Hawaii with a couple friends from high school. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Rustic feel and look but still had all the amenities were used to. Great location! Feels like you’re all alone in the woods but just a short drive to town. Would stay again.

Great Mountaintop View
We loved our stay at Mountaintop cabin! We watched eagles and loved watching the changing mountain view. I would suggest downloading a map to get to the top because the GPS is spotty up there. A small price to pay for the amazing view!

Very quaint and secluded.
Although the cabin was far out from town, and lots of twists and turns, we were pleased to see the online photos are an excellent representation. There was a large flat yard surrounded by large trees and brush. The views were spectacular! The best part was, after about an hour we were greeted by a set of twin baby calves and mama moose, just outside the kitchen windows. We watched them graze and nap almost an hour! All the linens were soft and superior to any we ever experienced in a rental. I did not want to leave. If we’re ever in the area again, we would rent it in a heartbeat!

Watch eagles soar!
We rented this property for 3 nights mid-June 2022. It was the end of a 10 night Alaskan adventure. We thoroughly enjoyed Mountaintop Cabin and the vistas that are part of the package. The sauna is an added bonus that I wasn't sure we would use, but we did use it, twice in fact! Beds and linens were very comfy. My only caution to future guests is to be aware that only one of the bedrooms has a door, which means that to walk downstairs requires you to go into the second bedroom area. Not a problem for us as we were travelling with my sister and brother in law and didnt mind the setup, but couples who dont know each as well should be aware. We would be very happy to stay here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay, ate all our meals on the beautiful picnic table on the covered deck. Spent the evenings on the deck enjoying the Mountain View’s and the birds. James is a great host!

Amazing views
Setting makes you feel like you’re in the mountains by yourself. Very clean. Perfect mix of rustic with all the amenities. Bedrooms are upstairs and bathroom is downstairs with a narrow staircase, would not have worked if we brought my mom with us. Sauna is amazing and the views ❤️

Two Couples First Venture to Alaska
We really enjoyed the quaintness of the cabin, including the cleanliness and awesome views! We enjoyed three nights viewing the mountains after a full day exploring Seward, including taking in the marvelous humpback whale. Coming back to the cabin was a perfect end to each day. Thank you!

This house was perfect. Clean, and an amazing view. We got to see a Moose and its baby from the living room window while the mountain sat in the back! Comfortable beds, nice bathroom and solar power! Also, the added bonus of mornings in the sauna were perfect. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Great cabin, truly a gem in the Seward area
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It is close to all the cool things to do in the area (Seward, Coopers Landing and Exit Glacier). The view is amazing and the cabin has everything you need for a great family stay. We will rent this place again.

Great Place in Seward
Loved this cabin. It was high on a mountain and the views are outstanding. The cabin itself is very cute. It's a bit small, and only one bathroom, but really very nicely decorated, everything you need and just overall a very, very nice place. I would most definitely stay here again. Some notes - had a great hammock to relax in. A good firepit, a sauna, an incredible picnic table. Lots of nice touches. And, the location was secluded, yet convenient.

Amazing location
My husband and I don't have enough good things to say about this place. Our favorites were using the fire pit, grill, and enjoying the back porch views. This cabin is in a great location, just minutes away from downtown Seward. Host was really communicative, and was incredibly helpful. I personally enjoyed having a lot of firewood available for our fire pit, and saw an eagle while relaxing in the hammock. Definitely stay here!

My family enjoyed the cabin and beautiful mountain views. It was close enough to Seward but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful woods. The washer and dryer were an added bonus and we would definitely recommend this cabin.

We really liked staying here! Beautiful view, (when it’s sunny.) Nice covered deck, fire pit, with wood! And a large area to park or kids run around. Inside was clean and just rustic enough for us. Just a few minutes out of town, but easy to get to, although google tries to put you down some weird side road. Only improvement I can think of is they may need some newer pans, but not a big deal. Highly recommend.

What an amazing view!
This cabin was Perfect! It was fully stocked the outdoor amenities were perfect fire pit with wood a beautiful porch with huge table and a double rocker. The view was incredible. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

Cute cabin with an amazing view. We only spent evenings there after long days outdoors hiking and sightseeing. Great tourism books were provided and very much appreciated. The satellite TV wasn't working for us which was a bit of a bummer but the owners responded immediately when I let them know.
