“This a great place to stay that is in the Victorian era mode. I hope the basic decorum and vibe of the place never changes. It is a throw back to another era and all of the pictures from earlier times in Kolkata and the hotel and news clips are very interesting. Yes there maybe some pealing paint (which to me is part of the charm) but there is a touch of class throughout - e.g. white table cloths, real crystal wine glasses, antique furniture. “Hotel elegante in una zona molto frequentata e caotica. Nei dintorni non ci sono ristoranti occidentali, se non in park street (20 minuti a piedi nel caos o 20 minuti di taxi). L'hotel potrebbe provvedere ad un servizio ristorazione per la clientela internazionale. Non capisco a cosa serva un inserviente che stà tutto il giorno in ascensore a selezionare i piani per i clienti! Per il resto molto bene”

“I really loved the personalised service provided by the owner as it is a family owned hotel and they go above and beyond to make you feel like you're at home.
