We read online that the hotel was 5*, and when we first arrived and were greeted with a scruffy bell porter with ink stains on his uniform, it didn't a great first impression.
For the 4 days we were the staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, more bothered about their iphone games rather than their front desk customer service skills!
Another big draw back was the limited wifi to just the lobby, this was a pain when we were trying to plan out days ahead.
The "western" breakfast was also limited to croissants and toast, and when we arrived one morning with 30 minutes spare , the staff refused to replenish them..we ended up giving the rice, noodles, corn on the cob or sweet potato a miss and went to the MCd's down the road.
The gym was also a joke, the treadmill or cross trainer didn't work and it was in a converted bedroom complete with old bed and office furniture piled up!
The roof top bar could be amazing, like both hyatt bars in the city, but it wasn't, defiantly not worth the lift ride!
On a better note , the location and price were great!
