A little bit below expectations
I've been to the Hotel a couple of times and I found the services offered quite deteriorated. The restaurants, in particular, are not advisable.

Assolutamente consigliabile
Ho prenotato piu' che altro per la posizione centralissima, l'albergo e' a due passi dalla metro di People's Square e da Nanjin Road, personale cortese, camera deluxe con tutti i confort rapporto qualita prezzo decisamente ottimo. Se tornassi a Shanghai non esiterei a soggiornarvi di nuovo.

Hotel con ottima location
Sono stata 3 giorni a Shanghai a Natale con mia figlia di 18 anni. Ottima la location, vicino al centro e a un passo dalla metro. Tutto si raggiunge in un attimo. La stanza affacciava sul cortile interno, piccolissimo e poco luminoso; il bagno troppo grande per essere scaldato aveva una vasca esageratemente grande, non è umanamete possibile riempirla d'acqua senza pensare allo spreco. La doccia, sempre molto spaziosa, era gradevole. Pulito ma meno glamour di quanto pubblicizzato.

Hotel molto comodo vicino al centro, personale che parla inglese e molto servizievole.

comodità in centro
L'hotel è accogliente, silenzioso nonostante la posizione centrale. Molto curato nei dettagli e a pochissimi metri dalla fermata People's Square della metropolitana, che lo rendono ideale per business (nel mio caso) ma anche per soggiorni di piacere.

Sono stato a Shanghai solo 2 giorni e per motivazioni lavorative e non di vacanza, non ho usufruito di tutti i servizi e pertanto il mio giudizio non è "completo". Mi sono trovato molto bene, l'accoglienza e il modo di fare del personale sono stati gentili senza essere invadenti. camere molto confortevoli e pulite, posizione ottima.

這間已經住過好幾次，因交通方便，就在人民廣場地鐵14號出口，步行5分鐘到南京東路步行街，大型商場，地道手信，購物方便，還有各式美食😋 房間問題只有一個，花灑的水壓不足，水力不夠！

The night duty manager was very helpful during my 1st night checked in. We had problem with aircon in our room and upon noticing that my wife and me were exhausted after long journey to shanghai, she immediately check for other available room. We were given an immediate replacement of room. Im grateful to her as we stayed in the hotel for 8 nights. I will definitely go back to stay in Yangtze for my next trip to Shanghai. The breakfast could be improve further though.

Gem of a hotel
Loved this hotel. Real character, excellent location, very comfy bed and great service, can’t complement the staff enough for their service and the robot room service bringing ice - amazing! It is indicative of the sense of style and eye for detail that the robo- server was dressed in a traditional Chinese waistcoat! But the best of all- what a bathtub- luxurious wallowing! If I had to add a criticism the rooms were a little overheated and the air on didn’t seem to regulate - but easily solved by opening the windows and turning off the ac!

Everything was perfect in every way. We booked based on a missinformation on the website and staff managed to have us into the expected experience anyway.

Classic design and convenient location
Photos and information provided by hotel to the agent was somehow misleading describing that the Art Deco room has an independent living area. Upon checking in, there was no such area and better watch out for more accurate information about this hotel. Yet, the design was classic that some travellers would like and location convenient with subway just across the street within seconds. Unexpectedly convenient to take the subway from airport to hotel direct, and a very attractive fee of only several RMB for some 45 km transportation from Putong airport to hotel. But don't expect any open views as it was surrounded by high-rise buildings.

Very good location. I was given an upgrade and the room was beautiful and spacious. only grouse was the food served at the cafe. Had breakfast there for 4 days and it wasnt good.

快適な滞在でした、満足です！
お部屋は特別広くもないですが、充分な広さですし、清潔で申し分なしです。 私が泊まったお部屋の洗面所は広く、シャワー室は少々暗かったのですが、不便なほどでもなかったので問題ないです。 何せ地下鉄の駅からの近さ、周囲の便利さから今後の定宿確定です。日本語は通じないと思いますが、フロント、ベル、お部屋のクリーニングの方皆さんとても親切でいい滞在になりました

Besides the fantastic location smack in the city centre and train station, the hotel condition and staff service is of top notch quality. I didn't know that they are no longer managed under the Langham brand, but this local brand is also upkeeping its reputation from the former Langham. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who has the additional budget to spare. However, pls note that there is no private drop off area, you can request the concierge to hail a cab for you or you can also hail a cab/car from Didi, they can stop right across the hotel for pick -up and drop-off. I would like to give my gratitude to the hotel staffs; Alan & Leo for their great assistance.
