“Yurt was as expected and pictured on listing. The bathroom was a little further than expected (and slightly uphill) which could make it difficult for someone who needs to go in the middle of the night. Otherwise, we really enjoyed this unique experience. I wish I would've know there was a mini-fridge, a microwave and some other kitchen items in the unit - we would've planned a dinner around that. A great location for visiting Sequoia. ”

“This was a great location for us to access Kings Canyon. There are other rental spaces (yurts) on the property but they are not close by and nothing is shared with them. We didn’t cook while there, but noticed decent cookware and spices and oil. Shower was tricky to figure out but was a nice hot shower. (Not for tall people though!). Bed was comfy. Excellent darkening shade in windows. ”

“This place was amazing and the host went above and beyond. The space comfortably fit 9 people and there was plenty of sleeping space, beds, and couches to accommodate our party. The place has everything you need to cook and prepare meals. There is a lovely patio area. We were able to fit 3 cars in the driveway. Overall, it was a great stay and we were able to go to Yosemite no problem. It took about 40 min to get to the South entrance and 30 more minutes after that to get to the valley foor....

Was evident that Mike and Di had invested time and energy into paying attention to detail to make this work for us non campers. “Me and my partner had a lot of fun looking at the stars and watching the moon rise, and the sun set on the valley. It was an amazing experience on the property with the bathrooms in fantastic shape. Cooking appliances all in great working order in the dome. It was a great time thank you to Mike & Di for everything ”

“My husband and I had a wonderful time. For anyone else interested in booking, just be aware, the tree tents are on a bit of a steep hill. There are stairs that make the walk up to each tent easier, however, you may need to pace yourself. I would absolutely recommend staying here, the views are beautiful and everything is clean. ”
