Albergo ad apparente gestione familiare, non appartenente a catene. Semplice ma funzionale, buona la colazione, con preparazioni cotte al momento su richiesta cliente. Posizione strategica ed ampio parcheggio. Gas station proprio di fronte all’albergo stesso. Buon Wi-Fi,

Comfortable, spacious room
Comfortable, spacious room. Very hot as the radiator was on full but easily remedied. Double and single bed in room. The en suite bathroom had the luxury of a bath and plenty of hot water. A lovely stay.

Staff friendly. Room basic but clean. Overhead lighting poor if you want to work at the desk at night. Hotel wi-fi didn’t connect at all despite password access. Good parking

Friendly, good value stay
Friendly hotel, easy free parking, WiFi, small single room enough for me on this occasion, and a good value price. Would have liked a bit more window in the room but for the price it's fine for one night.

Long wait for a receptionist when we arrived to check in - only member of staff on duty had been escorting potential clients around wedding facilities but unmanned reception not very welcoming. Room comfortable but some minor maintenance needed - links missing in vertical blinds, and bathroom door binding on frame making loud creak when trying to shut the door. Broken back to TV remote so batteries exposed. Breakfast ok but expensive at £15.

Stopped in single room 27. Very uncomfortble bed very very small bathroom and bathroom sink. No notice of a wedding party on Saturday the guests/childrens behaviour was atrocious i asked the staff on 3 occasions to ask them to keep the noise down and it carried on until 1am

Very nice
I thought it would have been basic for the price I paid but it was a very pleasant stay. I ate in the bar as the restaurant was being decorated. The food was amazing

A brief but enjoyable stay. The new rooms are a great improvement and breakfast was nice. All the staff are friendly and overall the venue provide good value for money.

My room was very tired looking Furniture not particularly good Lamps over bed to low kept hitting my head when sitting up and you really did need a car to be able to get out and about I was concerned about all thee wires showing be hind the bedsid table I Did quire this but told all was safe No sockets near the bed .

Rooms and general decor was tired. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Minimal toiletries (1 x round soap) provided. WiFi virtually none existent in the rooms (hit and miss). Corby press not working/broken. Staff very pleasant and breakfast superb.

Like at home !
A hotel located in a beautiful old and picturesque house which offers many on-site conveniences (gym, hairdresser, pub, restaurant, parking) all served by a very welcoming staff. The restaurant and pub probably serve one of the best cuisines in the area (the service can be a bit long). The place is clean, the bedding is comfortable, the Wifi is now at a satisfactory level and accessible everywhere (I use it professionally: mail - videoconference - web conference). I could have put the maximum score if there was not this low water pressure in the showers, it’s for me the main black spot of the establishment, but the shower remains usable. Also some rooms with cramped showers or/and with curtains (No longer really relevant and not very hygienic even if they look clean). It is nevertheless a place where I like to return and that I recommend.

Room and breakfast all fine but no wi-fi. This was a work trip and the wi-fi didn't work and the receptionist wasn't able to help. I needed to work so wouldn't trust going back.

Straight of of the 1950's. Not a nice play to stay
The room so so outdated it was rediculous It reminded me of my nans house Everything was old, out dated and worn out. Carpets, chairs, walls, everything was stained and marked. When they say warning the water is hot, oh my lord they are not kidding, it could melt steel it's silly hot The room is NOTHING like the pictures. I'd never stay again

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I apologise that you were allocated this room, we are in the process of upgrading our facilities and this is one of the rooms still to be done. The Sitwell Arms are new to Expedia and the night of your booking was one of our first nights live. We experienced high volumes of bookings and there was an error in the set up meaning Expedia could not view our availability. The room that you stayed in would not normally be open to Expedia bookings and I send my sincere apologies. I hope this will not put you off staying with us again. Regards The Sitwell Arms Team
