“We had 3 16 year olds, 12 and 19 year old plus my boyfriend and myself stayed here for 5 days. The train through the back yard was awesome, the beautiful river, private dock and fire pit across the street was perfect. Having the kids crossing the road was really a non issue for us since they are older. I was worried about sharing one bathroom but we made out just fine also not having a TV worried me but turned out to be great. Got us to spend time together and looking for the next thing to do....

“I loved everything about this stay. The charm of a "Hobbit House" only 2 hours from my home was exceptional. The owners thought of all the details. The house was filled with magic and wizardry everywhere even cute miniature LOTR/Hobbit characters hidden in the walls. Then, the screened in porch and patio were perfect for morning coffee and 1st breakfast. So close to hiking, caverns and wineries, but yet you feel away from all the hustle that life fills you with. This home is a real gem...
