Review for Greenhills Cottage, Batcombe, Somerset
The cottage was in a nice village with an exceptional pub serving excellent food
There was no heating other than portable heaters that we had to move up and down a narrow staircase. The heating should have been checked before we checked in.
Lots of items were dirty and stained.
There was little thought given to the welcome box. Eg - only one box of small cereal when there were 2 of us

A beautiful place to stay.
I would say the staircase is very narrow so if you have mobility issues this could be a problem. Also the floors are painted and can be very slippy in socks. The kitchen is stunning and the views amazing. The mobile network in the village is not good and the internet went down for 4 days when we were there so that meant no TV at all but also no way of communication was available.
