“The house, location and local amenities were excellent. We had no problems with cleanliness as stated in other reviews and the house was very well equipped. Sadly, the wind was high during our stay so we couldnâ€™t use the hot tub but thatâ€™s Britain for you! Local bar and restaurant, the White Horse was excellent; the food and service was impeccable and we would highly recommend it. The beach, although cold, was perfect and all in all our short stop to this area of the world for the first time...

“Sandy Shores is a nice relaxing place to stay. Plenty of room, bathroom walk in shower good. Enclosed rear garden with table and chairs just right to sit and relax in the morning or after a day roaming. Bus stop a few minutes away to Cromer onwards to Sheringham, can use bus pass. Buses don't run very late so look at timetable. Christine and Dave have a lovely place which feels cosy and welcoming when you arrive. Would recommend highly. In fact will probably return.”

“This is a good base . Very comfortable, well appointed and has the addition of a great hot tub nicely tucked away at the rear. We felt the fridge facilities was inadequate as it was too small and made difficult to keep enough product chilled. Good sized bathroom but shower not 4*.Bed very comfortable ,heating adequate. The couple that own the bungalow are very nice and will always help out if needed.”

“We had a lovely holiday. The location was fantastic - so lovely and quiet with amazing beach walks and views. All the bedrooms were lovely and spacious. The beds were very, very comfortable. “We adored our stay at Owl Cottage. The accommodation itself was lovely and clean, the decor was great and it had fab provisions for a four-night stay. The main draw for us with younger kids was the outside playground, pool and games room and these really didn’t disappoint. As we had a mid-week stay, we didn’t have any issues sharing these with the other cottages. The bbq was fun, and we really lucked out with the weather. The only tiny thing we’d suggest is providing some fly spray / fly tape...

"A lovely, quiet and welcoming place two steps away from the beach. Perfect for a relaxing weekend. Every detail is well-thought and shows the care and the passion the owners put in this property. We have really appreciated the stay and we wish to come back already. Adorable the little welcome gift of vegan flapjacks, a little gesture that made us feel right at home! "
