“It was a very peaceful spot set back from the road. The car wasn't parked on site but finding a spot on the road was easy and walking up to the cottage was guided with directions very clearly explained with photos by the host. Lots of lovely extras to add to the welcome and it was very clean, well set out, parking provided for nearby. No garden (again, we knew this) but lovely views out of the windows and walks from doorstep instantly available. Lovely main fire (not really needed as it happens) and good shower. “Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.”

“This is one of the best cottages we have ever been to.Situated on a real working farm with dogs, sheep etc. Views across the fields are tremendous and the farm garden is great with outdoor seating.Interior is cosy and clean. Bedrooms are large and bathroom has bath with shower over.There are lots of places to visit a short drive away as well as ample walking routes and quaint pubs.The owners live in the attached farm house and are very welcoming.
