“The onsen was just okay. I anticipated much better. The room was fine. What really bothered us was that they said that reservations made on Expedia do not support making a reservation for dinner. And, such reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Thus, they would not serve us dinner. The ryokan (a hotel) is way up a hill. They have a shuttle bus but they will only provide a trip to and from the Kumano-Shi station before and after check in. So, we had to take a taxi to go to...

“Simply beautiful. The onsen was so wonderful and the community onsen was even better. The staff were absolute professionals and went above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast and dinner were as we expected. I really liked their tempura but i loved the sashimi. My partner loved the beer dispenser:) We feel a got the best deal!”

“Apologies that we arrived late at hotel an hour after the dinner time. Thanks hotel owner offered to servie us late dinner! We stayed at hotel for 2 days with half-boarding. The room was exceptionally clean, modern and equipped with all amenities. They served varieties of teas and desserts in room. We loved their tea congee, and chicken hot pot. So glad we chose to stay with them to explore Yoshino! Definitely a 5-star! Highly recommended! ”

“The air conditioner was not needed. We turned the heater on briefly and it worked very well. The washer and dryer were both great. The shower rooms and bathrooms were excellent. The beds were nice. We enjoyed our stay veryuch and would gladly stay there again. Also, the neighborhood was very pleasant for walking.”
