“The onsen was just okay. I anticipated much better. The room was fine. What really bothered us was that they said that reservations made on Expedia do not support making a reservation for dinner. And, such reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Thus, they would not serve us dinner. The ryokan (a hotel) is way up a hill. They have a shuttle bus but they will only provide a trip to and from the Kumano-Shi station before and after check in. So, we had to take a taxi to go to...

“Dit is een werkelijk prachtige oude Ryokhan, een absolute aanrader als je met de auto reist. Heel erg mooi gebouw en erg goed eten. De eigenaar was erg aardig. Goed te combineren met een wandeling in Odaigahara.”

“バス停からはそんなに遠くないので便利ですが、コンビニの様な買い物出来るお店が無いので、予め用意しておいた方が良いと思います。天然温泉で泉質は良い様ですが、お風呂の淵に湯の花？が付いていて、それがカミソリの様に鋭利になっていたので、指を切ってしまいました。湯舟に入る時は気をつけた方が良いです。”

“綺麗なお部屋でした！ 熊野古道帰りに利用したので、遅くに到着して直ぐに寝てしまいましたが、もっとゆっくり利用したかったです。 横にある野外のレストランでディナーを頂きました。とっても美味しかったです。 牛すじカレー、ピザ、唐揚げ、白身魚フライを頼みました。特に牛すじカレーは牛すじが沢山入っていて、トロトロに煮込まれていて感動しました。正直キャンプ場のレストランなので、お祭り屋台の様に冷凍食品クオリティかと思ってたので驚きました。 ピザも生地が小麦の味がしてしっかり美味しく、唐揚げも白身魚フライも手作りの揚げたてで最高でした！ ありがとうございます！”

There was so much work into every bite, great flavor, beautiful presentation, amazing attention from the staff. We absolutely enjoyed our stay, the onsen, the dinner, everything....
