“This is such a great place to ski/snowboard. The hotel is great and has a lot of space, theirs a lot to do in the hotel also besides being outside in the snow. The onsen and massage is great also and add the breakfast and dinner to your stay, you won’t regret it! It’s very peaceful and relaxing and we enjoy coming here. Can’t wait to come back!”

“The resort was first class. We loved the Onsen which they had both private and public. They had no restrictions on Tattoos. The breakfast was great and we saved a lot of money on dinners since they had free wine, soups, miso, udon, etc every afternoon. ”

“What a delightful place to stay! Cannot praise the staff enough! They were all so helpful, friendly and accomodating. Some English speaking staff, who were honestly the best we met in our two week stay in Japan. We were told that they don’t get many English-speaking visitors and we were the only ones there, which my teen son and I loved. We love immersing in the Japanese experience when visiting, and this hotel definitely offered this. The rooms were simple but clean and tidy and well...

“部屋が40へーべーと広い。温泉が露天風呂有り。ディナーや朝食がバイキングで持ち帰りのお弁当かその場で食べるか選べる。周りは、山々で車があると便利。ただ、ボーとしたり、紅葉をみたり野尻湖という日本2番目の湖に行ったりできます。敷地内のリフトから展望台にゆきうえからの眺めも素敵です。”

“This place is a great discovery. The hosts offer a warm and gracious hospitality. The jazz music they play in the common area is excellent. I love their displays of art and the maps of the local area. The breakfasts were splendid and the host worked to accommodate the dietary needs of one of our group.”

“Hotel Hanabun was a great ryokan experience! It is nestled in the mountains offering a peaceful getaway from touristy/crowded areas. It had the best onsen water, even the locals went there to bathe! The hosts and staff are all friendly and accommodating to your needs. Google translate was necessary to communicate, but everyone is very patient. The food was incredibly delicious, and they use locally sourced, fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy ryokan. ”
