Hotel vicino a Short Sands - Newcastle sul Tyne

“Couldn’t fault anything, very welcoming, great room , comfy bed. Excellent breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. Great location on the high street, and lots of info on parking, warming out etc. will definitely stay again on a next visit to Tynemouth.”

“Great stay at the Metropolitan. Lovely room which had everything you'd need. Breakfast was of an excellent quality.”

“We travel from Canada to visit family in the North East every year and have stayed here three times now. It has a great atmosphere and the food is very good. We’re already planning for 2027 and we will be back.”

“Great location, with loads of parking in the area and really close to the station (handy to get to Newcastle) and the seaside. The staff was helpful when we had an issue with the check in, and was always responsive to our requests. “El hotel no tiene ascensor y tuvimos que subir las maletas por las escaleras sin nadie del personal que ofrezca ayuda, no llega el wifi a ninguna habitación y la limpieza no es buena. Tuve que dejar el hotel porque tenía reuniones virtuales y no resolvieron lo del wifi. Cuando reclamé reembolso de las 3 noches que dejé pagadas no les importó. Terrible experiencia!”

“Lovely apartment, key pick up will be after 4pm Monday to Thursday as the bar is closed beforehand. There is NO ALLOCATED PARKING PERMIT. Staff are lovely at the two businesses downstairs which offer 10% discount for anyone staying here. We lived the apartment so much, it's got a great vibe and had everything we required.”

“A very quirky clean boutique hotel with fantastic sea view. I would highly recommend it”
