Rotten and decaying siding and what isn’t is In need of repainting. A sharp contrast to the rest of the buildings and grounds which were beautiful.”

“The inn was marvelous. The inn keeper and her husband the maintenance man were charming and responsive to our needs and kept the place immaculate. The restaurant was dissapointing. Service was terrible, eggs were over cooked. Toast was slathered in butter (I think it was butter). No salt, pepper or any other condiments were on the table and the waitress was no where to be found so we ate the meal as it was getting cold. We did not go back the next day”

“We enjoyed our stay. The inn is in an old historic building but the interior is clean and filled with nice touches. We stayed one night, and were in the smallest room. The bed was fine. The room was quiet! The breakfast was thoughtfully presented. Good coffee. Great bread. We enjoyed the outside patio and lawn that leads down to the Ottauquechee River. We also enjoyed the artwork in the gallery. The best part of the inn is the owner and staff. They are attentive and eager to please. ”

“The owner was very attentive and helpful with all of our requests. He was truly thankful for us staying at the Inn. The Inn was nicely decorated and full of history which was shared throughout. The outside area was inviting with different seating options from couches to tables and chairs to Adirondack chairs under a tree and by the river. There was also a 2 seater swing. “The location is dreamy on a foggy morning. My room is in the back, away from the road.There are porch chairs right outside of my door on the strip of patio. The air is fresh. The bed is huge.
