We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It’s a small, chic property with a lot of character, perfectly suited to the historic setting. We were a group of five and booked two apartments—one for two people and one for three—and both worked very well.
The rooms were very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The main beds were excellent, and even the sofa bed in the larger apartment was surprisingly comfortable. Everything inside felt high quality and thoughtfully arranged.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. There was a wide variety of options, all fresh and of very good quality—definitely one of the better hotel breakfasts we’ve experienced.
The location is outstanding. The hotel is right in the heart of the historic center, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the main square and the pedestrian streets, with countless restaurants and places to explore nearby.
The only reason we didn’t rate it as “the best” is due to a couple of minor inconveniences typical for buildings in this area. There was a noticeable smell coming from the bathroom at times, likely related to the older sewage system common in historic properties. Also, parking is not available on-site, so you need to use public parking—but we did find a spot relatively close, so it wasn’t a major issue.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and we would definitely consider coming back.
