The house is fantastic with lots of room for our group of 6. The kitchen is well supplied and the house was clean and inviting.The views of the ocean and the ferry terminal were great. The karaoke room was well used by our group. Tons of fun and laughter. The host was fantastic to work with and responded quickly to inquiries. If you have a large group, (or a small one), this property will not disappoint. It's just a few minutes from the Victoria Airport.

Everything about this property was wonderful. Plenty of bathrooms. Two kitchens. A large gas grill. A wood-burning fireplace. And this is before you get to the view: a peaceful inlet watching ferries go in and out of port. A calm and relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean when we arrived and very well stocked. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toilet paper in all the bathrooms and the kitchen was very well stocked with coffee, sugar, creamer, and paper towels. This is the first time I can remember that we didn't have to go out and purchase these types of supplies. Also, a pet peave of mine, the kitchen knives were sharp and there was even a knife sharpener.All that aside, the best part of the house is it's location and the beautiful views from the sun room. Every morning we would sit and drink our morning coffee in the sun room enjoying the view and the coming and goings of the ferries.The house is large, 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, so room for quite a group. We didn't use all the bedrooms, but appreciated the bathrooms.

Zoe is a very conscientious host, promptly responding to issues and questions. The interior is dated but fairly comfortable though there is a shortage of seating if you are more than 6 people so we brought up dining chairs from the lower floor. It is very difficult to find a place with at least 4 bedrooms that is dog-accepting so this worked out for us. Be aware, however, that the property only has fencing down the sides and a bit of a barrier at the bottom of the yard above a cliff. The yard is not secured so dogs or children could easily get out onto the street. We saw a deer, bunnies, a turkey vulture (eating one of the bunnies!), and many ferries.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

From the very onset of communication Zoe was a top tier Host! There is nothing that we could’ve imagined or wanted for that she did not already provide! To be honest, we are EXTREMELY picky .. having been a VEBO Host family for years with a similarly sized home on the ocean in Fla. FIVE STARS all around because this home exceeded our expectations on every level. The views are GORGEOUS- the comfort of the furnishings and layout are perfect for hosting a large multi generational family. With a toddler grandbaby the first floor bedroom, lounge and second kitchen and dining area were PERFECTION! Zoe has the home well stocked with anything you’ll need and things you didn’t know you’ll need! It has been our utmost pleasure staying in her Victoria home!! Thank you for being such an extraordinary hostess!!

This house was great for all of us. We each had our own space, the 2 kitchens were very handy, and we found everything we needed inside.Super cozy and convenient distance to where we needed to go on the daily. A peaceful spot for a gathering of friends

Zoe was very communicative, property was very clean and well cared for. Plenty of space for all 8 of us. Not far from Sydney at all. While you cannot access the beach from the property, there are a few public access points nearby. Make sure to consult a tide chart before going because there is not much beach at high tide at all. Note: The ferry terminal is very near this property. If you are a light sleeper, the rumbling of the boats might keep you up. On the other hand, it might lull you to sleep.

Just what we wanted

It asks for ages, and saying adults, is not quite correct. We are a group of senior ladies (72-86), who get together for our yearly getaway. This year there were 8 of us. A beautiful place to be, in Sydney. An ever changing waterfront ,view, was ours for our 4 day stay. Had all we could want. Walking paths in the bushes, everywhere, which we enjoyed each day!! Large table, in kitchen, where we could play board games/cards!! Cooked all our meals, in the well stocked kitchen, as we are “ old school”. We hope to return next year, as it was all we could ask for!!!

Wonderful vacation

The house was wonderful and right on the water. It has a sunroom with a beautiful ocean view. We thought being next to the ferries would be a drawback but it didn’t bother us at all. It was a great family vacation.
