The Vorauf Vacation Park The Vorauf Vacation Park is located at an elevation of about 700 meters on a gentle ridge amidst the charming landscape of the Chiemgau region. The peaceful setting and beautiful natural surroundings offer ideal conditions for a relaxing vacation. Originally, there were three farms on the approximately 65-hectare site. After two years of planning and construction, the first houses in what is now the “Vorauf II” area were completed in 1972. The resort’s village center was inaugurated in 1976. The Vorauf Vacation Park owes its name to the historic Vorauf farm, which is located in the center of the resort. The property underwent extensive renovations in 1977 and again in 2012. Today, Vorauf Vacation Park comprises around 450 residential units as well as numerous sports and recreational facilities.
