“Tamarack is a historic lodge that maintains much of its quaintness in a lovely setting. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast quite decent. The staff is pleasant. The restaurant has a pricey, rather limited menu. Expensive drinks and live music in front of the cozy lodge fireplace take advantage of the historic ambiance. It's a great place to stay.”

“The property is in the ski area right next to the gondola. It was very quiet and peaceful. We went there in off-season and perhaps that was the reason for quietness. Gondola was not operational due to season. Drive to the town was pleasant. Great views. Our stay was very relaxing and the staff was helpful.”

"Great hotel and great service. Due to an unforeseen issue, we had to arrive very late at night, and the night receptionist was there waiting for us, making us feel welcomed and comfortable. Just a small note on the security deposit: they charged the same amount twice and at a higher rate, but everything was resolved within two days, so really no problem! If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be back!"
