  • Welcome to Hummingbird House, a peaceful retreat on a private 2-acre property near the base of the Huachuca Mountains.

    With two king bedrooms, beautiful mountain views, comfortable indoor living spaces and a newly improved backyard, the home is designed for couples, families, friends and longer stays in Sierra Vista.

    THE HOME
    The three-bedroom, two-bath home sleeps up to six guests:
    • Primary suite — king bed, organic-cotton bedding, room-darkening shades and private ensuite bathroom
    • Second bedroom — king bed, organic-cotton bedding and room-darkening shades
    • Third bedroom — two twin beds plus a full-size crib
    The home also includes a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances, comfortable living spaces, reliable Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, and a washer and dryer.

    OUTDOOR LIVING
    Step outside to a spacious backyard designed for relaxing and spending time together. Enjoy the covered patio, outdoor dining, propane grill, wood-burning fire pit, turf play area, large children's playground and outdoor seating, all surrounded by the open feel of the property's two-acre setting.

    FOR FAMILIES
    Younger guests have plenty of room to play, and the home includes a full-size crib, Pack ’n Play, high chair, children's dinnerware, books and toys. The playground and turf provide additional outdoor space without making Hummingbird House exclusively a family destination.

    COMFORTABLE FOR LONGER STAYS
    Two king beds, a full kitchen, laundry, workspace, Wi-Fi and practical everyday amenities make the home equally comfortable for extended visits, temporary assignments and guests spending more time in Sierra Vista.

    LOCATION
    Hummingbird House offers a quiet setting near the Huachuca Mountains while remaining convenient to Sierra Vista and Fort Huachuca. The area is known for exceptional birding and outdoor recreation, with Ramsey Canyon, Carr Canyon, the San Pedro Riparian area and Coronado National Memorial nearby. Bisbee, Tombstone and Sonoita-Elgin wine country also make easy day trips.

    Whether you're here to explore southeastern Arizona, visit family, spend time outdoors, work locally or simply slow down for a few days, Hummingbird House offers a comfortable home base with room to settle in.

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and well stocked. The house was close to all of our activities and we enjoyed looking at all the wildlife in the yard. Beautiful view of the mountains and quiet neighborhood.

Sierra Vista near mountains and town

The house is a good base for hikers & birders since it's very close to Brown Canyon, Ramsey Canyon, etc, yet is a few minutes by car from town amenities. The house is comfortable and well equipped with a very large yard, and in a quiet area with wonderful mountain views.

Beautiful Sunsets

My husband and I had a peaceful stay in Sierra Vista while taking care of some family business. After full days, we loved enjoying a cocktail on the back porch with a view of the mountains and the gorgeous sunsets. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Our host, Ashley, was very helpful and responsive.

Comfortable stay in smartly renovated ranch home with views.

What a fun property! We had everything we needed: comfortable beds, ample hot water, peaceful decor and a nice kitchen. The views from the back porch of the mountains are wonderful. Ashley, the property owner, was responsive and has even let me know that she made improvements from some of my suggestions. It is obvious the owners care. We will hope it’s available when we next visit!

Amazing stay in Sierra Vista

We spent an incredible 7 weeks at the Hummingbird House. The house is spacious, comfortable, and very well furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped and works well. The beds and linens were a dream and everyone slept well each night. Amazing bath towels. Lush. For us the highlight was the patio outback. With few exceptions, we spent each evening on the patio to watch the sunset over the mountain. The grill on the patio was awesome. The view was simply amazing and we will remember it forever. As silly as it sounds we were sad our last night on the patio! There were so many things to do in Sierra Vista and we tried to explore them all. When our children and grandchildren came to visit, they loved the area also and the house. This is definitely a five star house and we hope to stay there again. Finally the owners were some of the best we have ever dealt with. Kind, friendly and very responsive. They felt like family.

Amazing home away from home

This home was beautiful and clean. We all felt comfortable and had all the amenities needed to make the stay easy. The views were breathtaking. I would recommend this stay to anyone and if I return to Arizona would be staying here. Thank you for lending us your home!

Amazing Mountain View

This home was beautifully remodeled and met all the needs of our family. The back patio view of the mountain was breathtaking. If you are traveling to Sierra Vista, highly recommend staying here.
