“If I could give 10 stars I would!! Such a lovely, tranquil place. The staff are some of the loveliest people we met in Sri Lanka. Dennis was incredibly helpful, the room was spotless and the breakfast the best we had on our trip. I would highly recommend this hotel”

“A touch of paradise! The host and his family gave us the warmest welcome in the world. The room was spacious and spotless. Despite being in the forest, there wasn’t a single ant or mosquito in the room. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a lovely balcony overlooking lush greenery. Breakfast was served on the balcony every morning at our preferred time, and was undoubtedly the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel around the world. “This guest house is overrated and overpriced for the quality. Its service was mediocre. The room cleanliness was bearable one but far below the level of the tourist hotel. Sigiriya Rock is not far though tuktuk from there required 3 times the normal price of taxi app.”

“My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Also well supplied with towels etc. The family that ran the guest house were very freindly and helpful. I had a wonderful meal with them on the last evening i was there.”

Our hosts were very helpful, arranging transportation to the World Heritage Sites and a local dance presentation. Hosts will prepare breakfasts and dinners. The dinners we ate there were excellent. Best food in the area. ”
