“A fantastic family run Guest House ideally situated for the Rock Fortress, Elephant Safari and Ancient Cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa. All the family made us feel at home. Dinesh who runs the place arranged all our trips for us. Rooms are clean and comfortable and set in a tropical jungle like garden. Meals were lovely and plenty of variety. We highly recommend this Guest House and would love to go back one day. ”

“A touch of paradise! The host and his family gave us the warmest welcome in the world. The room was spacious and spotless. Despite being in the forest, there wasn’t a single ant or mosquito in the room. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a lovely balcony overlooking lush greenery. Breakfast was served on the balcony every morning at our preferred time, and was undoubtedly the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel around the world. I had informed them in advance that I was coming...

“The hotel is in a wonderful location in terms of walkability but the rooms are on the main road. The staff was kind and helpful when needed but not proactive - they never showed me the pool or told me about dinner options or activities for the New Year that the hotel organized. The room was mostly clean but there was food left from the previous guest in the fridge and the bathroom had mold and really needs an upgrade. The room was also only cleaned on the 2nd but not the 3rd day of my 4 days...

“We really suggest this beautiful guesthouse. We spent a great time, the two owners are welcoming, professional, kind and also very good cooks (they cooked something different and typical everyday)!. There are 4 rooms, so the place is familiar and not crowdy. Room was clean and quite big for the standard, 2 fans, Wifi. Very nice garden to chill. It's close to the Sigiriya Rock and the owners can organize Safari to Minnerya/Kawdulla national parks.”

“Una location bellissima in mezzo alla foresta, camere grandi e abbastanza pulite ma che abbisognano di ristrutturazione. La piscina é immersa nel verde e prende pochissimo sole perció rimane fredda. La colazione inesistente.. qualche pancake di cocco, fette di pane, delle frutta e uova sode. Mi sarei aspettato qualcosa di più locale, molto deluxldente il cibo. Meglio uscire e provare ristoranti vicini come il Mc Cafe fantastico”

“Nice place to stay, staff are friendly although there're language barrier. They changed my room as requested because first room smelled little mold. Balcony is ok, but little dirty with bird poops. Overall it's not too bad for the price paid. It's not located in Sigirya town, 2km+ to lion rock.”
