“We travelled in mid-September. The property was right in the town of Skadjfordur so it was great to walk around. The place is wonderfully decorated and the grounds are well kept. We enjoyed an evening hot tub while we were there. We stayed in the main building and no one else was staying in the other two rooms. I wondered how it would be to access the bathroom facilities if the building was full. There is one bathroom that has the toilet and the shower. As advertised, they have a kitchenette not...

“The house was ideally located in town and well-equipped with all that we needed for our stay. While it was unclear whether the property had a hot tub as listed, my daughter enjoyed her time digging out enough snow to open the door to the balcony. Very pleased with the ease of check in, value for the money, location, and comfort of the Painter's House.”

“Small place as expected, but we were able to squeeze our family of 5 into it for the night. Owner was helpful and communicative. Cute small town. Not 100% sure, but I think there was a public putting green across the street for golf lovers.”
