“The property welcomes pets. The staff is very friendly. The lodge is about 10 minutes from Silver City. The Buckhorn Restaurant is nearby and quite good. The lodge rooms are dark and need attention but it sits in the woods and that makes it peaceful. ”

“The pictures on the website did not match the conditions of property. Upon entering my room it smelled of urine and the window was wide open. There was also dirty linens in the bathroom. The sore from the inside looked like it had been broken into multiple times.

“Parking was easy. But I have been staying here when traveling for over 30 years. The owners are slowly letting it deteriate. The mattresses are wore out. Even my wife who like a soft matress said they were just too soft due to being so old. The worst thing was the fire alarm in the room going off in the middle of the night for no reason. Made us jump 10 feet. After that a couple of times I told my wife let's get out of h here. This place ain't what it once was. So at 3am in the lobby...
