Agriturismo country chic con pacchetto A Day at the Ranch (opt)

Fattoria storica situata su oltre 15 ettari di un ranch di cavalli e un salvataggio equino in cui abbiamo salvato oltre 400 cavalli! La nostra casa di 3800 piedi quadrati ha una vista mozzafiato da ogni finestra. Il grande portico anteriore consente di guardare il tramonto dalla poltrona mentre griglia per la famiglia o semplicemente sorseggiando la limonata. Appena entrati nell'atrio, vedrai immediatamente due gruppi separati di due gradini che ti portano giù nella grande sala sommersa. Una scala a chiocciola ti porta ad un livello inferiore finito, ideale per i bambini in una giornata piovosa. Pavimenti in legno originali vi porteranno nella grande cucina abitabile ideale per intrattenere e una sala da pranzo adiacente fiancheggiata da pareti di pino nodoso e, naturalmente, un camino da gustare dal bar. La seconda storia è pavimentazione in legno e soffitti con travi in ​​legno per continuare il tema che porta a tutte e 4 le camere da letto. Il Master ha un letto matrimoniale e il proprio bagno. We had a really great time staying at Tru's horse farm. It was really special. It was so fun to have the horses walk over to say hello over the fence. Some of our group did the assisted ride and horse grooming, as a bonus. The house is very roomy. Every window faces nature. What an escape. Tru responded immediately to all requests and questions. One thing to note is that light comes into the bedrooms at dawn because there are just gauzy white curtains, but since the windows face trees and greenery, we didn't mind too much. Check in and check out were very easy. We drove into Reading and West Reading (15-20 mins) and hiked in Nolde Forest (15 minutes). Definitely recommend! Plus, the cost goes to such a wonderful cause.

Perfect Stay

Tru and Adriana couldn’t have been any nicer. The home has such a great history and the location and the property are fantastic. We enjoyed getting a tour of the horses that are rescued and hearing their stories. Our grandchildren really enjoyed their pony rides. We had a wonderful stay and would book again! Thanks so much!

Weekend get away

Our group came for a quick weekend get away to see the race at Maple Grove Racetrack. We prefer to stay in a home rather than a hotel , this way we can enjoy our time all together. The property was beautiful and peaceful just what we needed ! The house was huge and plenty of space for us all to relax and unwind. We loved talking to the horses and the sweet cat in the mornings before we left for our events.

Beautiful setting for a Family Gathering

This property is truly beautiful and it was the perfect location for family coming in from out of state. The home was gorgeous and immaculate. We decided to join for a stable tour and it was wonderful. All around a wonderful experience and unlike any we’ve had before at any VRBO property. Highly recommend.

Tru’s property sits in a quiet yet great location. The horses across the driveway are barely noticeable, except for occasional happy greeting. Tru was very communicative and extremely affable. We would stay there again!

Wonderful Home

The house is gorgeous and spacious and the location surrounded by countryside and horses can’t be beat! Tru was so friendly and accommodating. She took my daughters under her wing and taught them all things horse! They loved it and we’ve made some wonderful memories to take home with us. Our favorite part was sitting out on the covered porch catching lightening bugs and watching the horses, magical!

Our son’s wedding- we had out of town guests and used the event space for the rehearsal Dinner

The home was absolutely beautiful. The photos did not do it justice. It has all the charm of an older farmhouse with the decor of a model home. Special touches everywhere. And so spacious- plenty of room to spread out. We also rented the event space for 2 events. We did have to provide tables and chairs but the area was great overlooking the fields. The owner was very attentive and responded to my texts almost immediately. I would definitely recommend the house especially if you also want an event. It enabled me to bring all of our families together!

A wonderful stay!

My family and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay during our recent trip to PA. The farm house is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The location and surrounding countryside were perfect. One of our favorite things was having coffee on the front porch every morning while watching the horses in the fields. Tru was a fantastic host, very helpful and responsive. We are hoping to stay here again next time we're in the area. Highly recommended!

Thanksgiving Getaway

What a fantastic place to visit. The Manor House and sprawling property were perfect for our family getaway. It was so great watching the horses and having the kids get a hands on experience in the barn. The house was comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen which was helpful for our Thanksgiving dinner. Tru and Adri were wonderful hosts and we will likely be visiting again. Thanks for making our Thanksgiving 2020 a memorable one!

A great way to relax and recharge

We are two families with grade school kids who rented the home for a New Year’s Eve stay. Upon booking, Tru reached out to introduce herself and offer suggestions in preparation for our stay. She was so helpful and responsive in the advance preparation for our stay, I already felt welcomed even before we arrived. Upon our arrival, our breaths were taken away by the home. True in every sense of farmhouse chic, it’s like stepping into the pages of Magnolia magazine and it was completely immaculate. It’s spacious and inviting and some of our original plans had been put aside so we could take the time to just relax by the fireplace and hang out. The house sits on a horse sanctuary run by Tru and we made sure to book a package with her for our children to groom and feed the horses, in addition to riding them. As Tru led the tour, introduced us to a number of the horses and answered our questions, we were delighted by the experience and the fact that this was something truly special our kids could be exposed to. This is definitely something to plan for as part of your stay, and is available to adults as well. The home is within driving distance of a number of must-sees. For us, that included the Christmas Village and the Lancaster country-side. Throughout, Tru was always available for more questions and coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out of the house (sorry, Tru!) This was an unforgettable trip and even better than we had anticipated. There’s truly no better way to unplug and relax, while waking up to see horses grazing just across the drive. Highly recommend, we’ll be back!

We had a great stay at the Monor home. The property was amazing and hospitality Tru, the owner gave us was second to none. We will definitely be back to stay here again inthe future. I would highly recommend it to groups tacking part in the numerous activities the surrounding area provides including hunting, hiking, and fishing. It’s also a great property for families.

Family reunion 2018

I loved it!! The house is huge and very comfortable, especially for a big family. The kitchen table was a perfect place to gather around and we almost never left it.....except for a wonderful horse grooming and riding class that got me back on a horse for the first time in 50+ years. Tru is a thoughtful and sensitive teacher with safety as her top priority. A peaceful and thoroughly pleasant family weekend.
