Hi, Austin- I am really sorry your experience was not all you hoped for. You are our first guest -out of 75 bookings - that did not have a 5 star review. While we have no control over the operations of the hot tub I know it is frustrating when it is not open for use, I apologize. As for the hot water, not sure what the issue was there. My husband immediately checked it and it is at its usual temperature - 130 degrees, so we are baffled. We will keep an eye on it and appreciate you letting us know.

You all are so gracious in your review. Thank you so much for your understanding and flexibility as the HVAC went out, in 90 degree heat, and smokey weather from the surrounding fires. You were above accommodating, understanding and flexible as we worked towards solution, which turned out to be full replacement of the heating and cooling system, which meant you had no AC during your stay! I cannot tell you how much you appreciate your communication, your understanding and your patience as we worked through the process. Please come again - now that we have a brand new HVAC system that is working beautifully!

Hi, Tyra - Thank you for the great feedback on the beds - I agree with you! However, you and I so far seem to be the only 2 folks who think the beds are hard - my husband loves the bed in the main bedroom, and several guests have mentioned how much they like them, too - which did not help my cause at all. Lol. BUT - thanks to your candid comments I have persuaded my husband to change one of the beds and as of this moment we now have a oh-so-very-comfortable, cool to the touch green-tea and gel comfort top 10" thick "medium firm" bed in one of the bedrooms - I am in heaven! So thank you so much for your feedback, hopefully you can stay again and try the new bed out.

Trish, thank you for your kind words, and I am glad to know the Christmas decorations were a blessing to you. My husband and I discussed whether or not we should do that, as it is not "our" home all the time and we want to be mindful that not everyone celebrates Christmas as we do. But in our hearts we wanted to share even just a small part of our love for the Season with our guests and I am touched that it meant what it did to you.
