A great place to spend the summer
Villa Bali is a lovely property situated on the hill overlooking Sitges in the Levantina area of Sitges (if you know the town, it's up the hill behind the Melia hotel). The property itself has a lovely pool in front of us, which the owner (who lives next door) helpfully topped up and cleaned once a week as it was very warm.
The property itself has 5 bedrooms which all have air conditioning. Two of the bedrooms share a balcony which runs along the whole front of the house on the upper floor. Two other bedrooms on the upper floor are on either side. There is then a bedroom on the ground floor. Some listings have the property as having six bedrooms, and there are beds in the room in the basement floor, but we didn't use this as a bedroom as it didn't have air conditioning or curtains to screen against the lite.
Josep and his son Jaime were incredibly kind hosts and showed us around the property beforehand as well as being on hand for minor maintenance issues (lightbulbs etc.) during the nearly 2 months of our stay.
The property itself is about a 5 minute walk from Balmins beach and about a brisk 15 minute walk to the edge of Sitges town centre. The San Sebastián beach is between the two.
This is an idea place for a family get away - close enough to town that you can walk even with quite young children but far enough that you feel like you can get away.
