“I booked a smoking room and I got a smoking room. The air cleaner in the room works great and the room is bigger than normal JR hotels. Everything is nice about the hotel. I have been staying in JR East hotel Mets for sometime now and I am beginning to get hooked to it. If I were to nitpick, I do need to carry my luggage up a few steps twice to get to the lobby of the hotel. Not a deal breaker but for smaller ladies who are not so strong, do take note. ”

“The location was the the first thing that struck me. It's in this seemingly quiet courtyard area next to a building with a pachinko parlor and a 7-11. The train station entrance is a one-minute walk, but I never heard any noise from my room. The room we had on the second floor was cozy with a nice big bed. We took advantage of the bathtub since the summer days are very hot and humid. Breakfast provided in the morning had several great options. But we also picked up some pastries nearby too....
