“Small quiet cabin in the woods. Owner communication was excellent. There were no issues. We would have liked a real oven, but there was a toaster oven and a countertop induction cooktop that worked just fine.”

“When we drove onto the property down the long, winding and rolling driveway headed to our own personal wilderness retreat, the stress level immediately began to ease. We really enjoyed our stay and even rediscovered the beauty of nap time! The cabin was quaint and secluded. One of the best highlights was viewing the stars from our bed! Really forward to coming back in cooler weather to try out the hammock and fire pit by the river”

“This property was perfect for our getaway before school starts. We loved the property, the house, the amenities and the location. Perfect for visiting many local attractions and having a peaceful hangout after outings. Everything we needed was provided and this host went above and beyond by sending a few things through a Walmart delivery that I just mentioned may be good to have for the next guest the same day I messaged. We highly recommend this property!”

“Fantastic lake cottage! Super cute, clean, easy to travel too. Wish we could of stayed longer to enjoy more time on the lake but we had a wonderful time! In addition, the hostess was super friendly and provided immediate responses to any questions. I would absolutely recommend and will be booking again! ”

“The property was absolutely beautiful! We had a little trouble with the internet when we got there (from no fault of Barbie's of course). She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and that we stayed in touch with out kiddos while away! I appreciate the cleanliness and the gorgeous decor of the Lakeside Haven. I would definitely return!”

“We were in town visiting family and this was the perfect place for our family to stay. Our toddler and dog loved the country setting and all of the farm animals and the flower lined fenced in yard was so nice to have. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The coffee, waters and snacks were much appreciated after a travel day and such a thoughtful touch. We did the farm tour with Christi and all the kids really loved getting to do that. “Our family stayed here for a short little vacation and had a blast. The house looks just like the pictures and the fenced in area of the yard was great for the dogs. There is also a doggy door, which I didn’t realize when booking but we loved having it. Its just a short drive to devils fork state park. We rented a pontoon for a day ao the whole family could be on the lake together. We also took a john boat with us and had no trouble parking at the house. The drive way if definitely a little hill...

“We just finished our third stay in this charming cottage in a secluded mountain cove, and it was a balm for the soul in these challenging times. What a perfect venue to celebrate my wife's birthday, sitting by the waterfall and soaking in the peace and tranquility of the cool mountain air. And to be serenaded by a Louisiana Water Thrush was the icing on the cake. ”
