“Lovely house in a lovely location.”

“This lovely 2 bedroomed house is in a lovely quiet area but a quick walk into town. It is absolutely immaculately clean and cant fault it. Dan is a lovely pleasant bloke who stopped for a chat when we were sitting in the sunny little seating area to the rear. My only criticism is that the house lacks curtains, it would be so much more homely especially in the bedroom to keep the early morning sun out. We'd definitely return next time we are in Skipton - which is a beautiful little place.”

“We loved our stay at The Old Post Office. Ideal for our family get-together. The beds are really comfortable, lots of spaces to hang out in the house, the area is magic- roll out of the front door and you are by the river or can go on glorious riverside walks from the front door. The Aga was lovely and warm and the property was well equipped, we had everything we needed. For us the photos didn't do it justice, The Old Post Office was comfortable, characterful and very spacious.”

“A lovely property that has been recently renovated to provide a modern, but cosy base for exploring Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales. The fire and excellent heating system ensured the property was warm and welcoming even with very cold days. Only single drawback is the busy road on the doorstep, but we were aware of this before arriving and the noise was not as bad as some had commented.”

“We enjoyed our recent short break to Skipton. Property was as described, lovely and clean on arrival with easy on street parking outside the property. Great location with a short walk into the centre. Communication and check in details as provided by Nick were excellent. The property was well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again on future visits to the area. Many thanks.”

“A truly spectacular property in very good condition, with everything you could need. Scrupulously clean. Well equipped kitchen which was a joy to cook in. Lots of comfy places to curl up with a book or join in family games. The pool is gorgeous. The only setback for us was that the house is very isolated and there was nothing (apart from spectacular walks and views) for miles around, so every trip or meal out for our group of 11 meant 3 people did a lot of driving, on top of long journeys to...

“Very welcoming. Nice touch with the provisions and card. Very clean and spacious rooms. Excellent shower, well equipped kitchen, including dishwasher (and tablets)Located at the top of a very steep hill, so may not be suitable for all. Just a short walk to town centre. Spar and chippy 2 minutes away. Only criticism is that one of the double mattresses sunk in the middle. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and would certainly consider coming back again.”

“Beautiful cosy and comfortable cottage ideally situated in the glorious setting of Grassington. Local pubs and food were great. People very friendly and welcoming. Stunning scenery and even managed to see Wharfdale play rugby on Saturday (yes they won). Would definitely come back, almost forgot an epic trip to Wensleydale to the cheese makers. Absolutely fascinating and lots of cheese purchased”

“We booked for a base as an Easter getaway with walks from the doorstep. It was Perfect, the property has allocated packing right outside the front door, it was clean, everything we needed was there! A lovely garden area to sit and relax in the sunshine with a glass of wine after a long walk in the dales! The property was in a quiet courtyard/lane just a few steps away from the main Grassington Square! Would definitely return.”
