“Very cosy room in a lovely setting, we had a room in the stables which has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner goes out of her way to make sure you have a pleasant stay, she even left homemade cakes in our room. Breakfast was excellent. Location was quite remote but ideal for walking, there is a pub about a 2 min walk away and a few villages near by where you can get a nice meal. Skipton is about a 20 min drive. We will definitely return.”

“We enjoyed many facets of our stay at the Lister Arms in early May. The sights and walks are stupendous--there are steep walks and near flat walks along the river and some through stone walled grass fields with lots of sheep. The food at the Lister was excellent and we had meals in the morning, midday and evening. Great selection of real ales. Very attentive and engaging staff. ”

“Really enjoyed our stay. Only negative was that the dinner menu was the same each night. The staff were very friendly and polite. A very dog friendly hotel too - you had the option to have meals in a nice room with your dog - this isn’t the case in some dog friendly hotels. Would stay again.”
