Hotel a Skykomish

“A charming place with a nice restaurant, which was unfortunately only open on weekends. Coffee, too, was only available on 2 of the 5 days I stayed there and Index itself has little or no other amenities. I would suggest they put small coffee stations in the rooms!”

“We were lock out of our room for over 4 hours and tried to get ahold of someone to re program our room door code and couldn’t get ahold of anyone so we went to the next door neighbor and it just happened to be the property manager. This is why I’m not giving an excellent review since we were unable to get into our room for over 4 hours and had to sit in our car since the weather was cloudy, rainy and cold. Other than that we were happy with the room overall.”

“I wouldn’t say this is the cleanest best western we stayed at during our 9 days. Some mold in the bathroom, difficult to figure out how to get shower warm. Carpet does not feel clean. So many recliners sitting in corners, multiple paint colors, stuff on the walls and counters makes it feel cluttered.”

“Front desk staff was not professional. Upon my arrival I felt like I was imposing on the staff at the front desk. Later in the evening when I returned from dinner, there were several men getting high just outside the main entrance to the hotel. The smell was atrocious! The men leared at me as I walked up to the front door of the hotel. As I entered the hotel, the men followed me in. I felt very uncomfortable! I went to the front desk and shared my concerns. The staff said the men were harmless....

“The staff was kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the history of the property. My room was clean, there were plenty of towels, and a wonderful bed, with a variety of pillows. The greenbelt and a path to the river made walking my dog very enjoyable.”

“The room was okay overall. After staying for two nights, I asked housekeeping to clean the room, but when I returned, I found that only the towels had been changed. The breakfast was quite limited. The only freshly made item was the waffles; everything else was very basic, with just a few cereals and boiled eggs. On a positive note, the receptionist was friendly, helpful, and welcoming.”

“SpringHill Suites by Marriott Seattle Issaquah is a very clean, modern and comfortable hotel to stay at. Staff was welcoming and very nice. The lobby and dining area are very nice, spacious and clean. The room we stayed in was modern and uniquely laid out. It had a nice pull-out sofa from West Elm at one end, closest to the door. There was a useful and large desk area that divided the room between sleeping and lounging / TV areas. Closet was huge; it was a walk-in closet that you don't...
