“This is an older facility and we could see that they have made improvements. It just looks old coming onto the facility and I remember saying, "oh no", but it turned out ok. Nothing spectacular here. The steps up to the second floor are carpeted and therefore dirty. They need to a vacuumed. The parking lot is made up of of dirt, asphalt, and crumbling asphalt and you can tell it has been like this for years. Nothing special about breakfast, the same old waffle, fruit, and pork. “Clean rooms but had a barking dog most of stay. Also a lot of landscape maintenance going on so noisy. Close to the town. Enjoyed our stay for the most part”

“Guy at check in acted like he was annoyed to have to answer basic questions (best direction for access to our room, what time was lobby open for coffee) and he only keyed our room keys for one day and we stayed two. Luckily we got back early and getting them reset was easy. The other two desk staff we interacted with were great and so was the breakfast staff. Breakfast was good with a reasonable amount of variety. Room was clean, no frills. All the rooms face the main road and are pretty close...

“Staff Megan and Kristina at the desk were very welcoming. Its an older building but very nice and the rooms were very clean and maintained. We did have an issue with the AC and immediately we were moved to an upgraded room. They were very professional and extremely apologetic leaving an apology treat for the inconvenience. “We were lock out of our room for over 4 hours and tried to get ahold of someone to re program our room door code and couldn’t get ahold of anyone so we went to the next door neighbor and it just happened to be the property manager. This is why I’m not giving an excellent review since we were unable to get into our room for over 4 hours and had to sit in our car since the weather was cloudy, rainy and cold. Other than that we were happy with the room overall.”

The Woodman Bar has a great selection of games and a nice fireplace. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We will definitely return next time we are in the neighborhood.”

“I came to celebrate my birthday and was sooooo happy that we chose this location. We stayed in the pet friendly, private cottage with the hot tub. It was clean, conveniently located, and plenty of room four two couples and one little dog. We felt like royalty. Can't wait to come back!”
