Looking for a great spot in the Poconos?! Our cottage at the Skytop Resort is the place for you! Many of our guests are wedding parties, family reunions, and large groups who find our home the perfect place to enjoy time together, while also having their own privacy in our 4 bedroom house. Our house is one of the original craftsmen houses built next to the Skytop Lodge. Our specious 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths house where none of the bedrooms shares a wall for privacy.

all while enjoying time with family and friends? Our cottage at Skytop Resort is the place for you! Many of our guests are wedding parties, family reunions, and large groups who find our home the perfect place to enjoy time together, while also having their own privacy in our 4 bedroom house.

As a guest of our Skytop house you will be able to take advantage most (not all) of the activities and services of the Skytop resort while enjoying the comfort and privacy of your own very pretty, clean and comfortable seven bedroom, four baths cottage.

ABOUT THE HOUSE:

This antique cottage, appointed with beautiful and comfortable furniture, is located on the 5th Fairway and is the closest home (about 80 yards) to the majestic Skytop Lodge. The cottage's floor plan and its proximity to the Lodge make it a great resting place for which to enjoy the Lodge and its fantastic facilities.

• Four private bedrooms – no bedroom shares a wall, three large bedrooms with a large closet and sitting area. The fourth bedroom on the first floor is smaller but has a private bath.

• Downstairs: Four bedrooms and three full baths. Three rooms with King beds and one with a full bed.

• Public spaces: Kitchen, dining room, living room and screened in front porch are all comfortable and cozy.

ABOUT SKYTOP's ON-SITE ACTIVITIES:

You would enjoy access to Skytop Lodge and most of the recreational facilities on the resort's 5500 acres and with its 18-hole championship golf course, fishing, hiking, rock climbing, paintball, biking, treetop adventure course with 16 different zip lines, cargo net and ladders, paddle tennis, skeet shooting, rifle shooting, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, snow tubing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, ice skating in indoor rink (only during late fall, winter and early spring), and do not forget to enjoy the spa to relax and enjoy gourmet cooking and drinks at the Lodge or Lake Inn restaurants and dining rooms and bars!
Weekend evenings often feature live entertainment in the Lodge. Participating in the Saturday Night Grand March with Skytop's 5 piece Orchestra is a favorite among guests!

ABOUT SKIING:

Skytop has their own beginner ski slope with snow making. For those looking for more of a challenge there are many ski slopes near Skytop, including: Camelback Mountain Resort / 20 miles, Shawnee Mountain 22 miles, Jack Frost Big Boulder / 30 miles, Snow Mountain / 40 miles, and Elk Mountain / 60 Miles away.

Unbelievable location by Skytop Lodge. We never had to use our car. Only took a few minutes to walk back and forth to the Lodge and many Skytop activities. The activities offered at the resort also kept our entire family very busy. The house was very cozy, spacious, clean and welcoming. We will surely return for another fun family getaway!

Great simple accommodations and walkable to the main lodge. Unfortunately we were there during a storm and the house has no generator so we had to use the wood stove for heat but we received a discount due to the issues. The host was communicative and accommodating.

This older home was very cozy and had lots of charm that you would expect for a mountain home. The location is perfect relative to the Skytop Lodge and many activities for our families. Four spacious bedrooms (three with king beds!) and three full baths were very convenient for the eight of us. Various resort and Lodge activities kept us all very busy. We also had good meals at the Lodge dining room. We will surely come back again!

Cottage was built in 1938. Furniture was dated to that period. Needed brighter lighting. Outlets were old 2 prong outlets but there were several 3 prong adapters available. The place was well stocked but the kitchen was very small. trying to cook and prep for seven people was difficult. There was a good sized dining room and table. We were told there were many activities we would be able to do while we were there. When we checked with the Lodge we were told we couldn't do any. Make sure you check with the Lodge about activities you would be allowed to participate in when staying at the cottage before renting. Even activities with a fee were only for guests of the Lodge. Disappointing.

We had a lovely stay in this cozy house with a very short walk to the Lodge! The house was very clean and specious. The screened front porch is a great place to relax and enjoy fresh mountain air. We enjoyed our family time at beautiful Skytop resort with all it has to offer.
