“Stayed here for a night booked online really late at night and was greeted at reception by a very pleasant and helpful young lad whose manners and customer service were second to none (very good), the hotel lobby, hallways and room is exceptionally clean to a high standard and the room was to a high standard. “The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes”
