“The apartment is really big and there is AC. There is an elevator in the building which is great as the apartment is on the 5th floor. You need to use the bus system to get around but there are many buses that bring you to the door. It's a great place if you need somewhere to stay in Izmir.”

“Emre’s stone home was perfect for a relaxing 4 days near the village of Foca. Everything was great. The internet was being upgraded in the neighborhood and we experienced problems connecting throughout our stay but I expect this problem was unique to the networks upgrades. I misjudged the location as we had planned to visit the site of the ancient city of Ephesus. The home is an hour and 15 minutes to Izmir and Ephesus was further yet. The village of Foca, a 10 minute drive away was very quaint...

L'Agora Old Town Hotel & Bazaar

10/10 Eccellente

"It is a lovely hotel located in a building inside the bazar (but it is very quiet). The central court host a restaurant/bar, and you can have your breakfast outside (if you like). Rooms are located at the first floor with balcony looking at the court. Rooms are very nice, with a lot of space, and absolutely clean. I definitely prefer that kind of hotels (to the standard international hotels) when I am on vacation, for the relaxed mood you feel. At night there is even live music in the court (that you can enjoy from the balcony or while you have dinner). It was the ideal choice for staying in Izmir. Th guy at the desk is amazing, he is always ready to help you, and he can even recommned or plan some trip around Izmir (Ephesus, Pamukkale, etc.) at reasonable prices. I totally recommend that boutique hotel."
