“Most of the hotel has rooms opening to the outside, with a smaller section that has interior hallways. The rooms are dated, but functional. The lobby has clearly been updated, but the rooms have not. Everything worked and the room was large, but it definitely had a run-down feel to it. Staff were great.”

“We spent the night after a wedding in nearby Northampton. It was a lovely place to return to at the end of a long day. We enjoyed our breakfast the following morning, both the buffet selections (especially the coffee cake muffins) as well as our conversation with staff member Kristen. We always try to support small businesses in the places where we travel and the Dasniel Stebbins House did not disappoint!”

“The place was fine--I don't demand much of a hotel. It is basically a place to sleep. However, more discerning travelers might have been upset by the fact that the supplemental door lock didn't work, one of the shelves in the closed was broken and the one day out of four that we had maid service, they seemed to only half finish the job. They may be very short of staff.”

“The front desk hostess upgraded us to a quieter 3rd floor room with 2 queen beds. Enjoyed our stay there; again friendly staff , clean premises (especially the bathroom) though tolerable musty odor probably from carpet.”

“Staff was superb. Breakfast was substandard….fake bacon, plastic potato cakes, inedible eggs.”
