“There were pro’s and cons to this resort. We were very early but were accommodated with an early check-in to a room at the level we had booked, which was great. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable although the view was mainly of shrubs rather than the ‘sea view’ we had expected and the patio doors weren’t very clean. I booked a table for Sunday brunch and when we arrived at the restaurant it was heaving - a good sign! - but the guy on the desk was brusque and wasn’t really interested in...
