This was one of the nicest houses I have ever stepped foot inside of, it was a spectacle in itself. Plenty of room, enough space for everyone to be comfortable, very clean, great bathrooms, great views and just about everything you could need in a rental.We had so much fun here, had a great round of golf, and thouroughly enjoyed our time downtown. I would highly reccommend this VRBO to anyone who asked or is planning a large trip with friends or family!

This place is absolutely beautiful. The house felt like home. Very clean. Location was perfect for us, it was only an hour away for home. It’s so peaceful and cozy. Would highly recommend it for anyone. Will be back in the summer for sure

Hockey Tournament

Stayed here twice with multiple families for a hockey tournament. Will definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Home Away From Home

The property was incredible. Great location, very spacious, and lots of amenities to keep adults and kids entertained. Very much recommended!

Golf trip

Absolutely perfect house if you have a larger sized group. Being right on a golf course is also a plus. House was immaculate and would definitely stay again.

We hosted a small family only wedding here for my son. This was an amazing weekend. House is beautifully set up. Every family member had something nice to say about the place. Kids just loved the games in the basement area, the room to run around outside and the little pound full of frogs turtles and fish. Would highly recommend!

Our stay was excellent - we were a group of 19 and had a splendid time in this vacation home. It had plenty of space for all to gether or spread out and participate in activites per age groups. The home is kept clean and has pretty much all the amenities you could expect. The lake view from the home is amazing.The kitchen was fully loaded with utentils/appliances and some spices as well.The host has taken very good care of the property and it shows in every aspect - indoor or outdoor. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well. There is a plenty of open space for leisure walking or any games to play. We used the fireplace next to the lake and had a great time - the evening sky was very beautiful adding more glamor to our pictures. Overall, this is an excellent vacation home and we will plan to return. Thank you, Jason for great communication throughout the Booking process, our stay and the check-out process.

Graduation party

We held my son’s grad party here and the house was beautiful and perfect for our gathering! There was something for all age ranges from little babies to grandparents! The grounds are beautiful and the teenagers had a blast catching bluegill! Would definitely return!!

Family fun

The property is as it looks in the photo's. Beautiful scenery and views. Even though it's close to the highway, we never really heard the noise. So much to do that you don't even have to leave the property. If you're looking for a great family getaway, this is the place to do it at.

Fun Bachelor Weekend!

This property was absolutely perfect for our low-key bachelor party weekend! It was the perfect space for our large group of 20 people and was the perfect amount of space. We had the best time! The views from the backyard overlooking the golf course were amazing! The outdoor areas of the house were incredible and there was enough space for everyone. If you have a large group, this is a perfect spot!

Amazing property

A wonderful property, highly recommend! Tons of space and lots of fun things to do. We had extended family and there something for everyone. The hot tub was hit, would be amazing if there was a pool for the summer! Beautiful setting and nice clean well stocked house. We will be back!

fantastic place for a group to stay

The property is beautiful. We came to town for a hockey tournament, with several teens from the hockey team. They were all thoroughly entertained with the games room, hot tub, and beautiful property for an outdoor winter stroll. The lodge is on a gold course, with nothing but the gold course surrounding it.

Silver Sticks Finals

Six families stayed here in this amazing house for the Silver Sticks Finals Hockey Tournament. The place was awesome. I would highly recommend staying here. Bryce and Jason were wonderful to communicate with. Hopefully we get to do it again in two years. Go Pittsburgh Aviators.

Guys trip

We just recently had a guys trip at this property. We were all blown away by the house and the lot by itself. Golfing was a bonus. Jason and Bryce answered any and all questions we had in a timely manor. The house itself was immaculate, with tons of things to do. We all had a great time!

5th-8th Grade Trip

The Lodge was the perfect accomodation for our small school's 5th-8th grade trip to Detroit. There was plenty of space for the children to shoot baskets, roast marshmallows, hot tub, play the many basement games, hang out and chat. The kitchen supplied all the things we needed to feed the 30 people, and the adults felt like they always had a handle on where everyone was, without anyone feeling cramped or crowded. There was plenty of bathroom access, and the huge number of twins beds was a huge win for our group. Everyone wished we could have had another day on our trip of just being at the Lodge.

Loved staying at the San Angelo Lodge. Place was awesome, would love to go back. It was clean and it is a great home. You can tell how much care has gone into the place!!The ONLY negatives were very small details that didn’t impact the quality of our stay, yet they were technically inconveniences.- the TV was extremely difficult to use. The host gives you a link to a YouTube video that explains how it works, and the video is very easy to understand, yet the TV didn’t actually function that way at all. Ultimately, we didn’t watch much TV so it wasn’t a big deal. But for someone who is relying on that, they will probably have to bug the host if they run into issues, which isn’t ideal for either party.- there was no dish soap after the listing said there would be, so washing dishes required buying stuff. Super cheap so who cares but it was an extra little run to the store. We left it there for the next renters to have an easier time! They did have a product called Jet Dry but that’s not dish soap. A few dishes (ones in the dishwasher when we arrived and ones in the cabinets) weren’t fully clean which was a little gross for a second but you just wash it (with Jet Dry?) and keep going!Beautiful place, comfortable and clean, smelled nice…would definitely recommend staying here!

A Fantastic Experience at San Angelo Lodge!

Our church teen club had the pleasure of staying at San Angelo Lodge this past weekend, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was perfect for our needs. The lodge itself was immaculate and well-stocked with all the necessities we could ask for. The space was not only clean but also thoughtfully arranged to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The amenities provided exceeded our expectations, and we were especially impressed by the range of games and activities available—perfect for keeping our group entertained and engaged. One of the highlights of our stay was the ease of communication with our host. They were incredibly responsive and made the check-in and check-out process smooth and hassle-free. It’s clear that they care deeply about their guests and the quality of their experience. Overall, San Angelo Lodge was an outstanding choice for our event. Perfect for large groups or wedding parties!

Absolutely stunning house. Every room was stocked with everything you could need for your stay plus extras to make you feel at home. Lots of games provided, always something to do. Cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Owner was very nice and informative.

Beautiful

We stayed here for our wedding with our whole wedding party. The place was stunningly beautiful and she had everything you could need there. She was easily reachable in case there were any issues. Kathy goes above and beyond to help her guests and she is truly an amazing host! We can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic host and beautiful lodge!

We rented the San Angelo Lodge for our annual girls weekend (14 people) and everything was absolutely perfect! The house was spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with anything we could have needed! Cathy was the best checking in on us and even helped with a special request. We would definitely stay there again!!
