“We felt this place was way over priced for the accomodations. The place was clean but had a funky smell, probably due to the age of home. The place was quiet, snacks and coffee were provided, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided so that was a plus.”

“We enjoyed the cabin. It was VERY nice and cozy. Our main concern was that there was pet (possibly cat) hair EVERYWHERE. We did not have a pet and unfortunately have some in our party that are very allergic which meant they were sick most of the trip. We had to rewash sheets that had tons of pet hair on them and had to avoid the couch. I don't believe the bedding on the bunk beds had been washed prior to our stay. “Great house, well stocked. I can only think of one negative, and its not really a complaint. There are no window coverings so no privacy. That bothered some of our family members because there are other properties in close proximity. ”

“Reasoning for giving this place a terrible rating”

“The property itself was beautiful. However, I would be very wary booking in the winter months because if a winter storm hits, your ability to get a refund or change your days is near impossible. We did not anticipate the polar vortex that decided to hit the weekend of our stay. The only option the host left us with was to reschedule within the next two weeks or lose all our money. This was a group trip and took months to plan so getting multiple people to reschedule in two weeks is not possible...
