Ok if you are looking for a luxurious place move along. If you’re looking for a cute inexpensive, beautiful little area this is it. It’s like grandma’s bedroom. It has vintage vibe we stayed here two nights to do some Thrifting and antiquing, and it was the perfect spot. Sitting outside with the chickens and roosters and 2 goats in the morning perfect. Beautiful views. Convenience of things we wanted to do. Nice and quiet

After my stay i really wanted to leave my suggestions written somewhere but there was nowhere to write them. So here are my suggestions: keep the covered in the area in the back nonsmoking. Its real unpleasant walking through there with smokers standing at the door. Since the free lobby coffee isnt available until 7 am, itd be great to have a coffee pot in the room. It would also be great if there was a hair dryer in the room since that seems to be a staples with all other hotels. If youre going to place a sign on the mini fridge for snacks and drinks there really should be snacks and drinks. Itd be great to know ahead of time that u only use well water. It would have been preferred to have a plastic baggie or insert for the ice bucket. I got ice and let it melt to drink. The soda machine was convenient. And the microwave was nice and clean to warm up my double coffee i purchased around the corner. Other than that it was a quiet, quaint place.

Hello Melisa and thank you for choosing Smoketown Inn.Thank you for the suggestion about moving the smoking area away from the back door. There was a hair dryer in your room though not connected to the wall, but under the sink, behind the vanity door. Yes, as for the snacks, we only put them out after April as that is when out busy season starts. Regarding the ice bucket, we personally wipe them out and make sure they are clean, with the ice coming from the same well as does all the water. I hope this addresses your concerns for the future. This was our second time staying here and we love it. Its quiet, peaceful and not like your typical chain hotel. Rooms are clean, place is very quaint & charming.

Best nights sleep, beds comfortable, rooms VERY clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. We had everything we needed. Much more peaceful, comfortable hotel compared to big chain hotels. We will certainly come back and recommend to friends.

This is a very clean hotel with amazing staff. It is kind of vintage and has everything you may for a very good price. The hot water had a very strong metallic smell and the mattress was a little uncomfortable but overall it is a great place to stay.

very polite and helpful staff. shower water smelled strongly of sulfur and drained very slowly so we had to stand in the stinky water the whole time. standard breakfast options.

Charming hotel
Great location, charming hotel that feels more like you are staying at a friend's house. Very clean, country decor. Very welcoming owners. Beautiful Amish farms right adjacent to the hotel property.

The atmosphere of the hotel is comfortable classical relaxation. We love the lounge room and outdoor area. Parking was also great. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We loved our stay here.

The place was clean and the decorations was like staying at your grandmas. Did love the 2 recliners in the room. Unfortunately our room was very musty smelling and even bought room fresher to help the smell. The breakfast was coffee, yogurt, and hostess cakes and muffins not much to it!! The staff was very nice and rooms were clean

Lora. Thank you for your review. Yes, we are a quiet little in with clean rooms. We do not advertise a full breakfast, we only say, "coffee and pastry". With the hot and humid summer, one would have to turn the A/C on high in order to reduce the humidity in the room. Fall is on the way!

This Inn was comfortable and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The only issue my husband and I did have was the smell of the water as I assume it was well water and their was a strong egg like smell to the water

They advertise free breakfast but it was only tiny yogurt and very small pastry. Otherwise it was great. Lovely outside areas to sit. Good location as well
