New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.
With an oceanfront locale and a private walkway to the beach, this home makes it easy to unwind into vacation mode. After days stretched out in the sand, rinse off in the outdoor shower and cozy up on one of the two spacious balconies. Listen to the sound of the ocean waves while you sip beverages at the picnic table or additional seating areas.

Kick back with a vacation read in the living room or watch favorite shows on one of the home's five TVs. The well-equipped kitchen features everything you need to prepare family-style meals. When it's time to eat, gather at the large dining table. Large windows invite in picturesque views throughout.

The house was great. Very disappointed in the amount of ants in the house and outside of the house. My husband had to spend his money to buy chemicals to spray inside and out. The manager said they were sending a professional to spray, but no one showed up and said they did. Ants also got into our vehicles.

Great Place!

I have to say that we enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, the mattresses were comfortable, and the view was perfect. There were no ants or any bug for that matter. I am disabled and going down on the beach was very easy for me, minus the steps. I would love to stay here again, but the pricing has gone up and I won’t be able to afford it. The only thing that the house needs is a new set of pots and pans. Don’t pass this place up, you will lose be your stay.

Beautiful views

Nice house with wonderful views. Could use some maintenance. Window blind in bunk room was broken. Dryer vent was clogged. Oven did not heat properly. Only 1/2 of toaster worked. The sliding doors on the beach side did not lock well and leaked when it stormed. And some of the slats on the deck are loose. The queen size beds felt more like double beds. Even though, we had a wonderful stay and would stay here again. Loved the location and lots of space.

Old Friends Beach Trip

We had a good time even with all the things wrong with the house ie. poor housekeeping, could not use the keypad for entry-it did not work so had to leave another door unlocked for the week. Scary. An ice machine that went bonkers off and on day and night. Plus an ant invasion inside and out.

Relaxing

The Turtle Shell is a wonderfully relaxing property. It is a great location, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and everything you need for a week at the beach. It is clear that the property owner cares.

The property was excellent, clean and quiet. Quick access to beach with great views from both decks. We had a couple minor household issues upon arrival and vacasa took care of them quickly, in the same day. Thanks to Chris Bolt for taking care of the electrical issues we had.

Too many ants

I would have given a 5, but you got -1 for the colony of ants I had to share it with. Ants in the silverware draw, in the dishwasher after running(cooled down), crawling on you when you sit on the sofa, and at times in beds. Did not get the checkin info when suppose to. Had to call your 800 number with a 20 min conversation to get what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. Layout of top floor very good.
