  • Newly renovated, inside and out, cute coastal bungalow,sleeps 6, with almost an acre, very private backyard, large back decks and front screened in porch, with plenty of gathering places inside and out.
    The space
    This private cozy cottage, just 10 min from Topsail beaches and Camp Lejuene, has been renovated top to bottom without loosing its charm. Adorably furnished with large private decks to oversee almost an acre of yard to play in. Hot tub is tucked away on one of the decks to give views of the backyard.

    Guests can use entire home and yard.
    Other things to note
    Very private lot! Close to beach and base.

Crabshack

Perfect for family with kids, has great deck, hottub and nice yard with firepit. Beds very comfortable, great bathroom and screen in front porch.

Wedding Weekend

This listing was used for my now husband and his 4 groomsman. They absolutely loved the place and the hot tub was everyone’s favorite! We will definitely book again for trips to the beach!

Very kid friendly

We stayed with a one and three year old and it was perfect for playing in the backyard and inside. There was even a little kids table. It was also perfect for chilling on the deck after they went to bed.

Nice place, but had some hiccups

First off, the host was very attentive, responsive, and hospitable. I really appreciated how quickly they worked to answer questions or resolve concerns. There were, unfortunately, some hiccups. 1. The property was listed as a 3BR when we booked, with only 2BR in reality. The listing was updated during our stay. So we came thinking more people would have more privacy. 2. The property was unsecured when we arrived. The front door was unlocked and I was able to open it without disengaging the key-code lock. 3. There were some cleanliness issues: dog hairs embedded in the towels provided, stains on towels, animal and human hairs on clean linens, dirty skillet, fork with some kind of purple paint on the tines, hairs on some of the silverware, and a few small bugs on the glass surface inside the fridge and in the common area bathtub. 4. There was a piece of metal, likely from an electrical plug, stuck into and exposed from the wall outlet to the left of the kitchen sink. 5. Check-in/out: no info was provided without first asking for it. No instructions were provided by email or through the app. Figured out the WiFi network and password combo through trial and error. Luckily noticed the single page check out instructions on the side of the fridge, so we had an idea for how to prep the place for departure. We had a great weekend, but are disappointed with the overall experience. Inaccurate listing and unsecured property are not insignificant details.
