Splendida unità fronte oceano ~ un posto in prima fila per la sabbia e il mare. A / 2 bagni unità d'angolo due camere da letto con non uno ma due ampi balconi vista. Finemente ristrutturato con un tocco contemporaneo questa unità ha un'abbondanza di luce con una pianta facile che vive di grandi dimensioni. L'unità si affaccia sul Pacifico per una vista spettacolare dei tramonti mozzafiato. Due campi da tennis, piscine fronte mare a due, a piedi Del Mar Race Track, negozi e ristoranti. Questo complesso di fronte all'oceano con accesso privato alla spiaggia. Vicino a tutto ma un complesso molto riservata e tranquilla con un sacco di spazio aperto. Due posti auto coperti assegnati.

Beautiful location

Amazing views and amenities. Kids loved the triple bunk. Bathroom counter is quite high if you have littles, even for our small sized 8 year olds. Would help to buy a small stool. But the location is hard to beat and the condo is very well equipped. We loved it! Be sure to check the outdoor closet for beach supplies, which now also include sand toys. ;)

Surfer’s World

Outstanding views. One story above the property general viewing area where people gather at sunset or to watch the many surfers. It’s like being in their world, but much more comfortable! CVS is nearby for anything you might have forgotten. We had a wonderful visit!

Great place to stay

The condo was absolutely perfect, location, sitting on the patio looking at ocean was best! I grew up in Solana Beach and this condo gave us all you need to enjoy the beach!

Great location; poor management

This is the second time we've stayed here and, exactly like the first time, you can not beat the location. It's great! The unit is spacious - it's perfect for a family with small kids. This is the reason why we returned. Like last year, this unit could be easily improved with a small investment in the amenities... the beach chairs are really old, rusty and not easy to carry, the boogie boards are the really cheap ones and are half broken, etc. If you know this ahead of time (as we did) it's not an issue -- we just brought our own stuff. If you are thinking of renting here - I encourage you to do the same. (You might also want to bring some of your own beach towels - there are like 5 or 6, but if you have anyone joining you for the day, you do not have a lot of extras.) Last year we had some very minor issues and the management was pretty unresponsive, but it was not that big of a deal as they were relatively minor. This year, after buying a ton of food to grill (the unit advertises a grill, and this is an important factor to us), I discovered there was no propane. (Also, the grill is old, rusty, barely works and was left filthy... but I couldn't even turn it on at this point.) After reaching out to the owners I was told "you can use the common one next to the pool and Jacuzzi or will have to refill it at a gas station". (Read through the other reviews -- Tricia had a very similar response last year.) I was shocked given how much we were paying to stay here - and a main reason was to have an ocean front view while we were doing things such as cooking! The worst part was after reaching out again, they just did not return my texts, call or emails. Totally unresponsive for days. It made me wonder what would happen if this was a more serious issue like a leak or broken fridge! I ended up going to refill the propane and asked to be refunded. Again, it took numerous emails and texts, I had to upload the receipt 3 times and, nearly 2 weeks after asking to be refunded, I just got a refund issued. Again, the location is amazing and the unit is spacious. They should update the amenities, but if you plan ahead it's fine. The reason we won't return is the lack of responsiveness from management. As annoying as it was, we could solve the propane issue. If there was a more serious issue, our vacation could have been ruined. If you choose to stay here, just hope that nothing goes wrong and you don't need help. You may or may not get a response.

This area of Solana Beach is very desirable - convenient to everything. Condo has beautiful ocean front location and views. Condo clean and has all amenities you would need for family stay.

Overall great experience

The views were amazing! We had dolphins in site daily from our balcony. Close to most everything we wanted to do. Pools were nice, beaches were nice. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and accommodating!

The best views in Solana Beach

Spectacular views and sunsets everyday from this nicely remodeled condo located oceanfront in Solana Beach. Restaurants, shopping, beaches and more are close by as are activities for the whole family. Owners are responsive to all your needs.

Nice ocean front property

Pics for property were accurate. Condo is a bit dated but clean and well outfitted. Welcome/check-in instructions on VRBO are confusing and outdated (Don't park in any "Reserved" spot, but the right spot says "Reserved", WiFi password supposed to be in an instruction book in the unit, but there is no book, etc.) Nothing we didn't figure out, but a bit frustrating.

Fond memories

My family and extended family have been staying in this unit during the summer months intermittently since the mid-1990’s. It’s a quiet corner unit with expansive ocean views from the common areas including ocean views from each bedroom. The appliances and washer/dryer have been updated and the interior is well maintained. All the infrastructure functioned well (electrical and plumbing). We had a great time with a seamless experience and will return.

SoCal Solitude

This property was enjoyable and quiet. With a view of the daily surfer crowd, it is classic Southern California Dreaming. One can almost hear the Beach Boys et al without the need of a radio. The kitchen was very well equipped. Furnishings were spartan, but then again, we were not moving in to stay. The only real complaint was that the unit addresses were barely visible after dusk. Exterior lighting left a lot to desire.

Not worth the money

Online booking made it look much better than it was. Featuring big seating area and fire pit - not in unit at all - a second bedroom (not featured online, for obvious reasons) was more of a Motel6 stay than a four-diamond experience - cheap bunk beds, old linen, terrible mattress, really embarrassing. We had problems with the plumbing 3 of the days, with overflowing sinks/garbarator and weren’t compensated but expected to stay in to meet and greet HOA and plumbers. We misplaced the pool key (due to an emergency) and we’re charged $400. Yep, that’s right. There are many places to stay in Del Mar that are better than this.

Great property - poor management & amenities

Everything seemed initially great. Only to start unpacking and there were no shelves or drawers to unpack into. When you stay a week (the required minimum), you want to unpack. We contacted the owner, and was told the items were on back order. If that is the case, be upfront and make temporary fixes to the problem. We asked for that and never heard another word back and all of our calls were ignored. We asked about the icemaker, if it worked "I don't know, you can try". What kind of an answer is that?!! You should know your property if you are a VRBO owner. The tennis courts were under repair, and there was no note in the listing regarding this as it is a listed amenity. The wifi information, etc. was noted to be in the informational book. I asked where that was and was told there wasn't one. So we had to dig for the wifi information. It's a good thing we are familiar with the complex as we didn't get a lot of help from the owners. Bottom line, we didn't get the accommodations we paid for with no solution or concession.

Perfect stay

Such a great place in the best part of San Diego. Amazing for kids with easy beach access and next to three pools. Beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas there to use. Mattress was comfy and the kids loved the bunk bed. We will definitely book again.

We enjoyed all the amenities of the very comfortable and updated condo. The quality and comfort of the furnishing was exceptional from the couch, to the beds and decor all lending itself to a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Beautiful location

Beautiful unit in a perfect location. Everything was great... the kitchen, in particular, was fully stocked with brand new appliances and was really nice. Couple of minor issues (coffee maker didn't work unless holding the pot up; we were told it was repaired after we left but would have been nice to have it repaired while there... the lock was challenging to open, seems it needs replacing and we didn't hear back to replace while there) but, in general, we had a great stay and were very happy. We'd definitely return!!

Cozy comfort with an enjoyable view

The condo was great for our trip and the layout lent itself to an amazing stay. It’s unique bunk bed room was truly one of a kind and perfect for kids. It’s impeccable views of the ocean were magnificent. The unit sits on a corner where the bedroom windows open to the stairway and common area which could get noisy if you wanted to keep the windows open and sleep in undisturbed. The amenities one might expect from a rental property (a toaster) were not present so we had to buy our own. The bedrooms lacked any sort of drawer storage so we didn’t feel like we could fully “unpack” as we ended up keeping some things laid out on the floor for organization. The checkin process and subsequent questions lacked immediate replies which left us waiting on property 40 minutes before getting the unlock code to the unit. Despite the minor hiccups and drawbacks we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
